Yes, 20 USD might sound high but you also get to stay at a safe, clean and beautiful place. We spotted a lot of animals (mainly crocodiles and birds). The nearby highway is surprisingly quiet, especially at night. Roberto is very kind and even brought us fruits in the morning.

Very nice place in the middle of the jungle. Quiet at night, only sounds of birds and monkeys. Enjoyable temperature day and night. Perfect to watch birds. They have a nice 2km hiking trail. As already mentioned 5000 per person. Which is more than fair for what you get.

Super clean toilets, hot water in one of the showers. Quite fast and reliable wifi. Nice owners, friendly dogs.

Really nice place if you are looking for a cold night to recover from hot beach nights ;-) the owner is incredibly friendly. The road to get there and return is challenging with 3 tons and 2WD. But we could do it. We also went fishing in the morning. Delicious trout.

Bathrooms were clean and wifi reliable. 5000 per person.

We couldn‘t make it with our Fiat Ducato. The road is too steep. Be careful!

Nice place, perfect to visit the market in Chichicastenango. The owner Tomas and his family are super friendly. You have wifi, a really clean toilet and shower. The water is supposed to be hot but is in fact just not cold, because the heater is not strong enough. In addition there is a dish washing area.

Nevertheless we highly recommend this place. We stayed 4 nights because of a roadblock and paid 70 Quetzales per night.

Calm night at the parking lot in front of the ecotouristico. Nice staff, clean bathrooms. Still 200 Pesos. Short drive to Uxmal. We didn‘t ask for WiFi or showers.

Nice parking lot of a restaurant. Clean toilets open the whole night. A lot of birds around as well as lightning bugs. 300 Pesos with access to good wifi. Shade under the trees. Safe and quiet. Close to the Palenque ruins. Friendly staff.

Super Lage, freundlicher Betreiber, sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen. Heisse Dusche tagsüber, da solarbetrieben. Strom, Wasser und Abwaschstation vorhanden. Sehr zu empfehlen. 400 Pesos pro Nacht, eher hoch aber angemessen aufgrund der Lage und der Infrastruktur. Check out um 14:30 ohne Aufpreis.
