Eco-Tours Tres Virgenes

Beautiful place, nice views, 350 pesos per casita per night, private bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a restaurant.

Neveria Danya

Nice little coffee, that sells local dates, date cakes, shakes and smoothies. Very friendly owner.

Agriculture Control Stop

As others have said, he will try to charge more, make sure you have exactly 20 pesos to give him, he asked for $2 or 40 pesos first I handed 20 pesos and he said it was ok. We had some fruits but he said it was fine.

old waterside road with pulloffs

Good spot to spend the night, I would recommend to come here late, as it is next to a road and not super nice to cook or hang out, best is to cook/eat at the beach and come here after sunset. We spent 3 nights here and nobody bothered us

Wash and go laundry

Nice and clean laundry in a great neighborhood.
$1.75 for single load, $4.25 for quadruple load, $6 for 6 loads, $7 for 8 loads
Dryer $.25 for 8 minutes
Free wifi and friendly service

Parc Marin Point Park

Great spot, very beautiful and centrally located, great for exploring San Diego and spend time at the beach. There are some people that seem to be here long time and it can get quite noisy, especially on weekends.

Ranger station

Free water from the ranger station at the park entrance

The Laundry Room

Nice and clean coin laundry with lots of machines, $2 for normal machine, $4 for a large one.

next to the gas station, laundry, coin operated showers

Nice shower, 50 cents to enter and then $2 for 5min. The washing machines are quite old and a bit dirty, but cheap ($1.25 to $1.75).
The gas station can provide change

Martinez Road Dispersed Camping

Fantastic camping area on public land, not far from I40, access is via a gravel road, but it is in good condition. There is a blue gate at the entrance, just make sure to close it again, after the gate there is a sign for the designated camping area, keep driving along the fence until there is an opening on the left. There is a lot of space and it is pretty level, can suite big rigs and tents. LTE coverage with AT&T
No toilets, no water, no electricity

Santa Fe National Forest

Free camping in National Forest, but it is not really a forest, more like a flat plateau with some bushes, access via dirt road, but it is in very good condition. Lots of space, pit toilet, picnic shelter, fire rings. Good place to stay while visiting Santa Fe.
Good cell service (AT&T)

Twin Lakes

Very beautiful spot with plenty of space and fire rings.

Indian Creek Campground

Nice free campground, around 10 spots with table and fire pits. Pit toilets, no running water. Bring your best mosquito repelent in summer!

SHOWER - Smith Rock State Park

Hot showers at the campground, $2, no time limit, free if you camp here ($8 per person, tent only)

Winema wayfinding point

Spent the night here, beautiful sunset and good for stargazing. There were some RVs and people sleeping in cars.

Dismal Nitch Rest Area

Good place to sleep, quiet, clean bathroom and nice view, lots of people in cars, vans, RVs and some even pitched a tent.

Free Blueberries - Charlotte’s Blueberry Park

Public park where you can pick up blueberries for free.

Walmart, Port Angeles, Washington

Good place to stay while visiting the Olympic NP, quiet, lots of RVs.

Porteuo cove

Overnight parking is only allowed if you register at the state park (campground house) and pay $35. They call this an emergency overnight and only allow it if the campground is full and it is already late, usually between 8pm and 9pm. They will walk around and check the parking lot and kick out everyone that didn’t register (at least that is what they did when we were there)

Oliver Lake

Small parking lot at Oliver Lake, right next to the Highway. There is some traffic but it is pretty quiet between midnight and 6:00am, there are pit toilets and picnic tables. Good place to spend the night when arriving or leaving by ferry.

Hot shower at civic center

Hot showers at the civic center, at the Tourist Information they told us that we would have to pay, but the lady at the civic center was super nice and let us take a shower for free

Recreational site

Very nice and quiet free campground, right next to the river, the main road is on the opposite side of the river and there wasn’t much traffic.

Kelowna Walmart

Overnight parking allowed, as usual park far away from the entrance and leave at 7am (when the store opens). There were plenty of RVs and vans when we were there.

Bacchus Books and Café

Bookstore and café, selling new and used books and has a good wifi. Good to restock in books while on the road and do some work, they serve some food as well.

Wait a bit Creek

Awesome free spot next to the river, there was some fire wood around, but I wouldn’t count ont it.

Hwy 1A

Beautiful place, nice stop on the way to Banff, there are quite a lot of trains passing, but it didn’t bother us.

Steveville Bridge Campground

Very beautiful campground with fire pits and tables, the toilets are not very well maintained (one door is broken), there are a lot of mosquitos if there is no wind!

Walmart parking, very close to the metro and highway. Bonus point: there is a dollar cinema right around the corner!

Deer Lake Boat Launch

Nice site at the end of a gravel road (1 mile) next to a lake. Nice and very quiet, but be carefull as it can get muddy close to the lake, we almost got stuck.

Walmart Peterborough

Walmart in Peterborough, I called and they said it was absolutely no problem to sleep on their parking lot. Very quiet, store closes at 10pm and opens at 7am
