Nice amd calm lake. Some people doing barbecue in the night and fishermen in the morning. Clean.

Could not get to the cañon. Road was too sandy for our 2WD kombi. We stayed 1.3km before. Quiet though people in motorbikes passed by a few times in the afternoon.

Nice spot far from the road. Nice semi precious stones all over. Fire pit. Stars.

Arriving to Belen, pass the virgen to the left. Down the road there is an entrance to the river. To the left is leveled ground, a table, some garbage around and access to the river. Must be a popular spot for locals but tuesday night was empty. Some traffic noise from the road.

Rain made the access difficult. High clearance 4WD vehicle needed. Instead we found a spot near the virgen.

Down the road, some fire pits. Not very leveled. Good for the night.

Parking in front of the entrance to a huge public park. Open from 8AM to 9PM free entrance. Inside playground for kids, dogs allowed, toilets and running water. Car noise from the highway. Tables inside and supermarket 1km away.

Dique Campo Alegre. Nice landscape, cows, horses... Some garbage around. Some guy came by and charged 40 pesos per person because it is a private place he said.

Probably the best homemade empanadas in town. Local dishes too. Local clientele. Traditional ambient. Family restaurant.

Great spot close to the center. Good to park and visit. We stayed 2 nights and then museum personnel asked us to go to the camping municipal. Police passed by to check. Some people shared some drinks until 3am on friday. Free wifi close to the museum.

Price is now 120 pesos. Children pay from 4 years old. No dogs allowed. Cold showers.

Good place to overnight. Public bathroom is free but dirty. Lot of cars passing from 6:30AM until 10PM. Playground for kids.

Nice place, residential. No public bathroom. Quiet to overnight. A pickup truck sells fruits and vegetables in the corner of the fountain in front of the Bio Espacio store. Playground for kids.

Next to school, many people passing by. Nice hike to the canyon passing the cementery.

4 lovely nights in this beautiful spot in Tupiza. Calm, quiet and secure. Very friendly host. Best food in town and lots of activities (tour to the salar, horse riding, shows,...) Ask for delicious homemade beer and fruit marmalade.

Very nice atmosphere with great music and very friendly owner. Go have a beer and grab a bite in this great spot!
And it's pet friendly, so it was cool to be able to be with our doggies.

Viewpoint with some tables. Windy. Nice rocky formations on the other side of the road. Nice river closeby.

Nice place, a little windy because we went farther from the road close to quinoa fields.
