April 12th, 2019 Monumento Nacional Pichasca

National Park with some rests of Dinosaurs and petrified wood (madera petrificada), 2,5 km trail to visit different places and a cave where mens lived 8000 yrs BC... Well maintained park with lot of explanations (only Spanish). Entrance fees is 6000 pp for foreigners and 3000 pp for locals (or foreigners living in Chile), small museums at the gate entrance, nice view over the valley, open 9:00 to 16:30, no camping allowed, but 3 km before park entrance, agrocamping Los Sauces, 4000 pppn.

April 8th, 2019 Old parking lot

Nice spot close to the lake, view on the windsurfers and kitesurfers ! Quite windy but in the extreme right of the parking lot it was ok (we are with a camper) tents could stand a little further in the bush, a wall is offering a good protection. At night, the house of the finca (about 300 mtrs distance) was inhabited, reinforcing the safety of the place.

April 6th, 2019 Ischigualasto Paking Lot

Today we were not allowed to sray at the parking lot, we were told, at the entrance that we have to use the new campsite (200 pppn no cover for the vehicle, fair price because you get hot and clean shdower, free wifi, electricity... really good !)

April 5th, 2019 sanitary controls fruits

we were controlled and ask to open our freezer, apparently some fruits like orange are not allowed...very cordial control, tere is police also but documents were not asked

April 5th, 2019 Eco Parque Yacampis - La Rioja

As said below except not so huge as stated, and really noisy as close to a big avenue, price was 150 pppn and 200 p for the camper (considered as MH), so total 500 p...little expensive for what you get but not much option apparently in the city...

April 4th, 2019 Camping Costa del Rio

We checked only price after having a tour, it was 650 p for 2 + camper, but we felt too narrow sites for us, even if not so bad for one night.

April 4th, 2019 Inti Punku close to Termas de Rio Hondo

Prices «jumped» to 850 pesos for 2 + camper, too expensive... we were told Jan / Feb was low season and promotionnal price !! We tried to bargain without success and decided to leave, other places were better place (camping del rio, close to the bridge, 650 pesos for instance).

April 4th, 2019 Camping Provincial

We were informed that rhe camping is closed and no date for re opening, it looks like totally abandonned.

April 2nd, 2019 River Crossing Ferry, Goya

Balsa between GOYA and RECONQUISTA, it takes two hours, cost 2700 pesos (65 usd approx) for a camper on Nissan Navara and two persons, every day at 16:00 from Goya and 06:00 from Reconquista...No service onboard but worth the experience !!

April 2nd, 2019 Camping Puerto Reconquista

Nice campsite on the river, locals comes for spending the day and camping on WE, arriving late with the «balsa » from Goya, we stayed here, but did not use toilets or showers, looking bit messy... Price 200 pesos (5 usd) two persons and camper, quiet. Restaurant with good fish , owner very nice and friendly !

April 1st, 2019 Ibera Visitors Centre Lago Ibera

Closed due to construction of new Visitor Center. Nothing to visit actually.

April 1st, 2019 Camping Cambu Cua

Camping Cambu Cua : to update below information, really nice (we could not enter Municipal Camping, as height limit is 3.1 mtr) but found this one much better and quieter. Paid 600 pesos for 2 persons and a campe (about 14 usd at actual exchange rate), s
ame as Municipal Camping. Very good showers. All very clean.

March 29th, 2019 Camping Andante

March 29th, 2019 Gas station and Restaurant do Gringo

Very nice place for a quiet and safe overnight stop. Good thing is a small parking for 10 cars approx where trucks are prohibited, might be a little small for big rigs, shade from trees. Restaurant opened late but quiet as main parking separated. Free WiFi from Gringo restaurant (password : GRINGOWIFI), cheap buffet and food. Free and clean toilets in Restaurant.

March 19th, 2019 Camper Duaron

March 16th, 2019 Camping do Rosa

Nice place, not so small as described in other comment, our camper on NIssan Navarra fit perfect, 3,2 mtr high and room for a couple more ! Friendly owners, bargained at 50 R for 2 and campers, close to the beaches (20 mn walk to Praia Ouvidor), clean bathrooms and nice shelter for 10 or more people to seat, freezer, kitchen..

March 14th, 2019 Camping Lagoa e Mar

Just to update, we paid 56 reais for 2 and a camper, a guard at the gate 24h / day we arrived late and were acomodated immediatly, private clean bathroom only for us ! very nice people at reception....Highly recommended !

March 14th, 2019 Camping Recanto das dunas

Nice camping, 15 reais pp (March), close to beautiful beaches (1,5 km approx), with simple but cleans amenities : man / women shower, shelter with BBQ, freezer, hot water,.... big grassy campground can receive big rigs (Close to Parque National Itapeva, but it is not open for tourist, only scientific investigation), sympathic owner lives here, so open off season, if not, door uses to be opened ! a really good option as very few campings in the area...Access road regular but no problem for 2WD.

March 13th, 2019 Beach in National Park Lagoa dos Peixes

Nice spot on the beach close to a fishermen small village, the road is good for 2WD except if rainy, three small wooden bridge w/o weight limit, we are a camper 3tons and felt very safe access from main road about 10 km from Tavares, right, well indicated (National Park) a lot of birds along the access road ! Acess is free.

March 13th, 2019 Access roaxd to Bacupari

Long access road made of little stones, some sharp, very bad for suspension and tires !! Bacupari village itself very commercial place, we have seen much better places south (Mostardas, Tavares,..) a tourist trap for us, we did not stay !

March 13th, 2019 Tavares, Lagoa das Peixes

lovely small village with lot of services (free and good wifi in Tourist Information center and Bakery in front ), we spend the night in grass area close to the church, nice and safe, good shops around including small supermarket...

March 12th, 2019 Bojuru church

Very quiet, there a small grass area on the left where we asked to stay for the night, so not to be «in the street», we were allowed, nice people, churh in pink colour dated 1882 very nice from outside...FREE
