This place is in the wrong location, but I'm not sure where it is!

Parking place with space for about 6 cars

Parkingspot for about 10 cars. You can stay overnight here in your camper. You can also put on you tent along the shore. Nice view along the coast, sometimes you see dolphins.

Flat bush camping spot at the goot of the Bab n Ali peak. You have to walk to this spot

Quit place for wild camping. Of the main route and out of site. View om a small dammed Lake. Good track.

There is a sign along the road there is a camping but accually it's a local house surrounded with farming ground where it's possible to put yout tent. Camping is very basic. There is no running water. The toilet in the house of the owners can be used.
In the morning I got some fresh baked bread.
Only the childeren speak France, the women not.
After some negotiations they charged me 100 MAD/€10,- to put on my tent.
I camped here because the close by auberge Tazlou didn't accept guests.
Good starting point for a hike to Bab n'Ali

Best car spare part store in Kasane. Friendly staff who adviced us. Last chance to buy your needs for Zimbabwe: 2 white reflectors on the front of the car, 2 red reflectors for the back, 2 set of warning triangles, fire extingisher and a safety jacket. We bought these items including 2 jerrycans for 80 US Dollar. In Zimbabwe on our way from Hwange to Bulawayo at the first check-point they checked all these items to find a reason for a bribe. At the following 4 check-points we had no problem. So perhaps its cheaper to pay a small bribe and not all these spare parts 😊
We didn’t needed the 2 jerry-cans because in Vic Falls and Bulawayo it was no problem to buy fuel (we succeeded to pay in US Dollar). In Vic Falls there where some queues at the patrol station.

Cozy place next to the river, beautiful view. There is wifi and small pool. We booked our afternoon sunset boat cruise on the Chobe river here. The best boat we have seen on the river, not to big soo you can get closer tot he game. And not to small (max +/- 20 people) and a top deck to watch the game from more above . The manager, Luke, is very friendly and gave us some discount because we are a family of six, (6x P250 for the cruise and for 6xP75 park fee). We saw a lot of game, a group of 89 elephants,some hippo’s elephants swimming in the river, sable, crocodils.and a nice sunset.
The manager also gave us some good advance about the situation in Zimbabwe (buy 2 jerrycans for spare fuel at MotoVAC)

Just renovated. Spacious campsite, large flat Sandy area with 2 new toilets, clean and with toiletpaper, hot showers and dish/laundry. $10 pppn, can be booked via internet.
Nice restaurant ($8,- to $10,- per plate) and bar (softdrinks $2,-, beers $3,-) and view on the waterhole which elephants frequently visits.

Nice place with a small swimming pool, a lot of shadow and nice garden. 4 bays for cars with a rooftop tent and a small grassfield for max 5 small tents. $10 pppn

Great place for a stopover. Great experience, bucket list place to visit. Lodge is a few KM's from the main road along a gravel track with a few sandy parts. Can be done with a 2-wheel drive.
Waterhole which attracks lots of elephants. Close interactions with the elephants. Elephants at the waterhole can be watched from the restaurant with a drink in your hand and also from the swimmingpool very closely you can almost touch them.
Diner (BWP155) open buffet can be booked on the same day and is quite enjoyable.
Campsite (BWP 130/pppn) is unfenced and at night the elephants walk through the campsite. Hot showers.
In search for water in winter the elephants ruins all, digging for the drains of the ablution block and destroying taps and drains.
