Nice spot with an astonishing view. Great because it stays in the shadows of the mountains during the morning. It is posible to be seen by passing cars, but we saw four cars driving by.

Very beautiful camping site. Clean toilets and showers. No electricity on the camping/ parking spots.

One of the most beautiful camping we have been. No heigh issues for big rigs. Very clean bathrooms/ showers. A huge pool and some small sized houses for kids to play.

Very nice, clean and beautiful termas. We stayed here for one night. It was a bit noisy because a group of people came to party (Friday night)

We slept here for one night in front of camping site with a giant water slide. It was a very calm night, nobody bothered us. The camping is for tents only, we could not get in with our big rig. We paid the regular entrance for pool visitors to use bathrooms and showers (and our two kids enjoyed the big water slide)

Beautiful peaceful place. Highly recommend if you like it simple and clean. We stayed for 2 nights and had an delicious asado organised by Johann. Thanks also to Martina for the 4x4 short lessons.

No height issues here. We paid 400 to leave the car overnight and stayed at the hotel Gala across the street (4200 AP/ 2 adults+2 kids)

Very beautiful drive from Yala to get here which can also be done by any regular car. There was a bunch of people fishing during the day. Nice frog choir during the night. Don’t expect a “just me and nature” feeling, as there are houses (or a restaurant) close to the parking spot.

Crossed the boarder and took a cab (charged me 100 pesos). Ask for Natalia, she was super nice and helped me out. The insurance for foreign vehicles is min. 4 months. Cost depends on year & model. Mine(iveco/ 1996) was 25 USD/ month. The exact address is Avenida España 189

We slept two nights here. Although it feels very safe, it is also very noisy during the night, with a lot of trucks circulating.
The hotel did not allow us to take a shower or to refill our water tank. Pizza at Minutemen is good dough. We had no issues with the military, nobody really cared for our parked overlander.

The pool is officially closed, no visitors are allowed. We paid 100 Bol. to sleep in our van right next to the pool. We are a family of 4.

Great spot. Has everything you need and is close to the city center.

Spend a night at the plaza. It is school holiday time, so there were people listening to music until 11 PM.
Super nice market. Sadly the charango museum was closed when we got there (Open 8-12 AM / 2-6 PM)

The space for overlanders is basically the car entrance. 4 vehicles max. With our 3,5m high, we had some issues with a tree, but we could get in. Furthermore it is a beautiful spot, excellent breakfast, clean toilets and warm showers. Highly recommendable to stay here if you come to ToroToro.

Excellent place to take a deep breath after a long trip and a lot of wild camping. Very kid’s friendly (playground, mini soccer, tree house). Decent showers and toilets. A+++

It is a regular parking lot in front of the termas. Very calm after the termas closed. Got very crowded in the morning with a lot of kids running around. Do not leave anything unsecured, as things tend to disappear after just 1 minute.
The terma itself is basically a public swimming pool

We parked next to the shepherds house. There is a also free water there.

Very rudimentary plaza. The church is nice to visit.

We slept a night at the plaza. It was very calm and quiet. There is free wifi and grocery stores, but no mechanic or store to buy screws or tools.

Señora Rosita did some excellent sopaipillas for us. We slept right next to her house, which gave us some shelter from the cold wind
