Comment:
This is a state picnic area on Nichols Lake that is open 6am-11pm. There is a paved parking lot, decently clean pit toilets, picnic tables with grills, small beach/swimming area, and a well water pump. There are plenty of people here during the summer but hardly anyone during the off season. The sign says no overnight camping however car and van campers could probably stay here for one night during the off season.
