Good for overnight stop. Right next to road under a tree. One car per hour came past. No one stopped. Shady and right next to game fence.

exelente lugar gratis sobre costa del rio.

Stayed here one night during a heavy thunder storm with tornado warning - not a problem at all and enjoyed a beautiful show.

Public park with trails for biking and hiking. 24 H free parking allowed.

too many mosquitoes on the rainy season, didn't stay, trash everywhere.

in our way to the biosphere, there's barely anyone driving this road, saw a death monkey, almost run over a snake but didn't. beautiful drive.
conditions ok mostly but some pinches baches (potholes), surprisingly no topes. I really like it.

just a checkpoint to go to the magic town, asked us what we were transporting in our van, just said "our stuff, it's our home" and said ah OK, let us go through, weird. there was a military first sitting and then a private security guy with a gun.

police asked what were we doing in palizas, asked for documents, we said we were looking for the tourist office and they told us the way, friendly but those guys have such corrupt faces tbh

Parking on the beach not far from village quiet at night. Shower on the beach

Really beautiful place to stay. The people left at 9 and then it was really peaceful. Park on the other side of the courts to avoid the sun in the morning. The trail is short but nice. The washrooms closed at 10 and reopened at 9. You will see some deers here !

Great hotel with a secure underground parking garage. It’s the standard clearance height. A Jeep can get in no problem. The garage gate closes at night. Free breakfast starts at 7. Very pleasant staff.

Tried to park here for one night. The entire parking lots were empty. An unfriendly person appeared and signed us away. So we left.

Last beach shack, facing the sea, shade, shower and very kind owner. Wifi. We have lunch in return for the hospitality.

we attempted to make it to the next pin but the roads began getting pretty rough and washed out. the last 500m before reaching this pin weren't easy. recommend 4x4, even when dry. we made it but our Ford transit worked pretty hard. amazing view at the site but not very level. leveling blocks are definitely a good idea. great cell coverage. plenty of solar (no shade). lots of biking trails.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet. beautiful walk to absolutely beautiful waterfalls. a 'must do' for sure.

However, I wouldn't attempt this road if its wet or raining. there are huge holes and big muddy ruts.

A good amount of parking in the back for RVs and overnight parking. Located across from a bunch of outlets store. Not much outside noise at night.

16 RV sites. Crowded on weekends. Nice babbling brook on east side.

This place is awesome! We found it last year, and stayed 8 days, then came back again this year. It’s quiet and most people are pretty respectful. You can park just feet from the river and it’s super clear water.

directly at the river, on grass beside port piers little shade only, ideal for cool days, better Mo - Fr, barbecue places available, some installation of electricity plugs in construction also with Europlug, may be available for public. Some trash, lot of birds, some wild dogs not many. Staying overnight permitted from Prefectura Naval and local Police. People very fiendly. Boat rides available. Mercado artesanal nearby.

Wonderful place, extremely quite compared with other spot. Many place to park. Everything is wild, no facilities. (Buy food in Paliouri).
Please help to clean the beaches and pickup trash (even if it’s not yours)

I walked into the restrooms and noticed they had showers available for $5. The facility wasn't fancy by any means, but hey, it would do the trick.

Large open areas for overnight parking if needed as well, although the highway and gas station traffic would be noisy. But this stop is also right next to BLM land.
