We stayed here for five nights. Quiet spot, level site, right on the lake. There is an active side by side/four wheel trails around, but no one bothered us. There was a vault toilet across the road down a narrow path. By a boat access but did not have anyone launching their boats when we were there. Very happy with this spot!

still there, 235 pesos for 10kg tank. you have to pay first and then worker will take your tank and fill it up

Nice flat spot near a quiet village. The lights are very bright and stay on all night so set up your tent around the edges of the area to avoid them.

This site now has a "no camping or sleeping in vehicles" sign.

It is quieter then Home Depot just down the street. Located tucked in a neighborhood I would recommend only quite stealth camping. Only con is you will prob be woke up as I was at 7am with people walking their dog. Excellent mountain biking trails in the area

Beautiful views, very windy, lots of people here camping out. South side is honestly better but the road to get there is washboarded. 2WD low clearance vehicles can make it

Big hidden gravel ground right next to the Storage Place in Sooke Business Park. Just follow Butler Rd until the end, straight is a ramp to another business, to the left is the gravel ground. Just look for the massive mobile tower, can't miss it!

No fence, so signs.

Probably a bit muddy when it has rained before, but was solid when we stayed there. It's close to the surrounding forest and pretty quite. Maybe somebody is in the storage place once I a while, but they didn't mind us. Perfect for big rigs.

I spent the night with my bike. no many traffic but is on the route. have 2 fire places, and the police left me some wood...nice. there is water in bottles the people left to Santa . there is a tanle I slept on. nice place

so now a little different the rough cobblestone road enters this parking place large and flat and the main parking for the hotsprings.the walk down continues for 3.5km on STEEP switchbacks.the casseta does say emergency vehicles, but when I staggered into the bottom parking after the walkdown the place had 3 vehicles. its no easy walk in the parkvand after dehidrating for 2 hrs in the pool my lift backup was welcomed, beautifully place.

before the cobblestone crazy steepness there is this large parking flat area in the trees.overnighted here no issues. it is further to walk to the pools

the road leading into the spots is thin but paved, the campsite was very nice, big enough to turn a 25 ft skoolie around. unfortunately the lake Access is now a hike from this spot because of the drought. the lake level is down a lot. overall very nice spot, good sun but also lots of trees for shade if you want it.

We stayed here one night out of desperation. It was quiet and no one bothered us. It is commonplace for big rigs to overnight here. Had a large rig with a lovely lady driver park next to us and we chatted in the morning. Since big rigs park here please be kind and try to leave the large open spaces for them if you can.

Nice, unique lodge with an absolutely awesome hot spring! Campsite can get a bit cramped, if full. But some very nice spots with river view. $20/pppn. Expensive, but worth it. We spent 3 nights relaxing in the hot springs and it was great. Free firewood. Good pool. The gravel road here from the Great North Road and from here to the M1 was fine at this time. Don’t miss this place, it’s worth it.

Barely made it through with my Promaster van, had heck of a time with the puddles! It rained a week before. Some beautiful private spots if you can make it.

called ahead of time. said it was totally fine to sleep there "by the rvs" - which is just the car parking lot to the right of the store (if lookig at store front). security came around in the morning to wake people up, but didnt give us any trouble.

One of a few good spots along this section of coast, this spot fills up so don’t show up too late. we saw some vans parked at another spot south of here so that seems fair game too. Watch out for the construction closures north of here, they close the road for multiple hours.

I have a 4WD so I went on the other end of the beach over the hill is another secluded tiny bay, more protected from the winds. Very soft sand to get to the hill, beware. Military vehicle passed by to inspect the coastline. I waved, they waved back and kept going.

We needed a safe and secure campsite for a week while my husband flew home to the states to take care of a few things. We found it and more at this site! the parking area is level, clean, comfy, and has stunning views of the river. the bathrooms and showers are perfect! Wifi is good. We were lucky enough to be there when no one had rented the AirBnb house onsite... because that meant we could use the pool and sitting area by the house. it's important to know that the pool is not always available. There is a washing machine that you may use for a fee... and two super friendly pups! Oh..m high quality electrical outlets if you need power... you will pay a bit extra if you run AC from the outlet! But, the best part of this camp is the owners, Mike and Luisa. We cannot say enough about their kindness and help provided while we had to do minor maintenance on our van. Our van is 22 feet long and 10 feet high and we were able to fit. VERY IMPORTANT: You have to reach out to Mike via WhatsApp/phone before going to this camp. we called at 8am and he answered on the first ring! Top Notch Campsite!

Very peaceful. Easy dirt/gravel road in past the open gate. Cattle grazing in the field right before the site.

Scrambled up the little mountain across the road for an amazing sunset/views of the area.

Clean public bathroom with flushing toilet, sink and soap in MJ Finlayson Centennial Park.

As other people have said, it's a beautiful spot with great cell signal. Just watch out for the mosquitos. There are none during the day but they swarm immediately at night. Also, if you have tools magneted to the wall of your van, be careful with the fly swatter.
