at the end of Shutty Rd there is a flat area to stay if you’re in need of a stop over.

A gem off the old 132. There’s a spot just on the right side about 50m in, another spot on the right that leads to under the bridge. A third area (right side) about 300m in is where we stayed, barely any road noise, just the view and sound of the river flowing. Train passes at around 11pm. Spring water further down. Very quiet and very little cars passing by, and not much mosquitos either. Maybe 4 other cars overnight throughout the whole 2km path.

Keep in mind No phone signal for a good 20 mins north and south.

Large parking of “Kagawong Park Center” about 200m south of the beach/marina. No sign forbidding overnight parking unlike all other places in Kagawong (but sign for camera watching you!). Very quiet.

As noted. Small car with 13’ trailer, had room to turn around at the end. Good enough for a night stop.

Incredibly scenic tiny campground, lots of things to explore nearby. 5 good sites around the edge, 1 very exposed site in the middle. The edge sites filled up around 6pm on Fri/Sat nights -- other people drove through but no one ever took the site in the middle.

Definitely check out this completely paved side road. A little before this spot there's a nice pull off with a great view for lunch (and perhaps a nights stay?)

We spent one night in a motorhome in the small parking lot just after the church (water, WC, emptying cassette), picnic air. Small village grocery store, bakery and caterer at very affordable prices

It's still open. There was some smoke in the air while we were there so can't speak for the view. Scrub desert area, nothing too special. You can take the back road into Bodie from here (~30 minutes), comes out right before the gate.

Parking lot for trail head has some level parking and tent area with fire ring. Road up is steep and has several water bars to traverse. NOT recommend for trucks and trailers! Small vans, rooftop and ground tents only! If your gear has regular or low clearance DO NOT attempt.

despite of the no camping sign, the place doesn't seems to be monitored and we ended up staying there for the night with 6 other cars.

Nearly 40 sites with picnic tables, fire rings, trash, and pit toilets. $16 per night. Some nice grassy sites, some gravel and clean, some quite dirty. Saw a couple of larger trailers but I’d say best for smaller trailers, vans, slide ins, and tents. Best 4 mile round trip hike I know of up the canyon. Follow the road up past the lake to the trailhead. Open summer only.

Nice level spot along Gros Ventre Road and Green River. Stayed for five nights and drove into Teton NP, Jackson and Yellowstone from here. Hiking trailhead nearby.

One of the best places to stay on Likoma Island. It's not official open yet but it's already beautiful!
3 beautiful high standard rooms and 2 simple bamboo beach huts.

I came here around 8:45pm and there was a security guard waiting at the entrance to the parking lot. He said no one is allowed to sleep in the park and park is closed from 9pm until 6am. There is a chain that the security guard puts up to close the lot. Some lame people ruined an absolute gem of a spot!!!

Nice views, but it is a bit noisy because of the main road running past it

vehicle glass specialist..2 Mexican brothers worked in Seattle. spotless workshop and the correct tools. undercover large workshop refitted my new Sprinter 2002 windshield after the volcano road did its worst.
they gave me a price for a new glass which was much cheaper than Mexicali

Superbe (tranquille) emplacement (achalandé à notre visite) pour plusieurs VR (autonomes). Il y-a des tables de picnics, un gazebos, une toilette, un parc pour enfants et un enclos d'entraînement pour chien!
Super aménagement le long de la rivière.
En sortant, il y a une boite pour prendre des dons d'argent.
Il y-a une station de vidange au garage municipal à 2 coins de rue.

Nick is very friendly and a great guy! We messaged him short notice if he can have a look at our Sprinter on Friday afternoon and he kind of already waited for us when we arrived. He listened very carefully to our description of the problem and had a very thorough look at every possible cause for the problem. We felt in very good hands!

Opposite the tourist office in Tadoussec a small hut with toilet and clothes washing. No signs outside. Only 1 washing machine and 1dryer. Very cheap: 75c for a wash and 75c for a dry. Machines only take 3x25c. Not sure if this is open all year or only in summer.
