nice place but full of people. hard to find a free spot.

great place. burger okay, kompot, homemade lemonade, lasagne, chees cake and borscht are amazing. the stuff is friendly and speaks english. they are quite busy so it takes some time to get the food.

Town centre car park, cost £2 for 24 hours. No overnighting on Wednesday nights. Not scenic but very handy for town centre.

Achamos um cantinho para estacionar na frente da praia! Muito bonito, noite tranquila, parece ser uma vila de pescadores. Só tem espaço para 1 ou 2 carros.

Nice place in front of the beach! There’s only room for 1 or 2 motorhomes. Quite at night and we felt safe

This boat ramp is well used, but quiet overnight. No one bothered us. Some road noise from M-22. There is a pit toilet closer to the boat ramp.

Spent a nice quiet night here in our minivan. there's two spots to back into. We don't get out of the vehicle, so we can't speak to bugs. no signs barring overnight parking. please leave it clean. :)

Just as described! To find fresh water, park (temporarily) in the handicap stall so the hose will reach.

Day use area. No signs saying. Explicitly no overnight park, but 6am-10pm park hours posted. You can drive right down to the water and hang out all day. This is a spillway so it’ll be closed if the lake is overflowing. Nice clear water, not many other public access points nearby.

Here you can try and buy the famous Pintatani wine. I got it from Doña Petita as recommended bu the guy at the museum but it seems that other houses sell it too

Dump station with water. Attached to a campground and a day use park which we did not use.

Awesome campsite right over the bridge on the edge of the creek. No cell service. It looks like there are some kind of brown trout in the creek. Did see a Gardner snake in the taller grass on the shore of the stream. Otherwise absolutely lovely with no one near by.

No camping allowed. Multiple signs posted warning against it. We did not stay here.

Safe place to park overnight right off the interstate. Checked with manager who said it’s ok for the night. Restuarant, convience store, bakery, fuel etc. strong Verizon signal.

We meet Monse and Sebastian and their farm. We made plans to go back and make pizza and fish. Call ahead kind of confusing to get there but the views are amazing!!!

Behind the turist office is a tap with potable water, and during the day there are public bathrooms too.

Nice dirt pull out right off US1, kind of nestled from the both stage road and PCH. Quiet. We did have anyone else stop and stay. We stayed from 8:30 pm until 10:30 Sunday to watch church. Good cell signal. Slight angle in van but found a good spot not too bad at all. Little trash was left behind so we cleaned up before we left. Would def stay again!

Après avoir souper à ce restaurant, j'ai demandé à la proprietaire si je pouvais passer la nuit dans le stationnement. Elle m'a dit bien sur que oui avec un grand sourire. Elle est super gentille. C'est pas le plus beau spot, mais c'est juste à côté du Mcdo si on a envie pendant la nuit. Ça m'a bien dépanné !!

Warning: This is 4wd road. My Promaster had to get winched out!!!

Great and fairly new spot in a small village. Ten pitches on grass with electricity. Very well maintained. Shared cooking area in an old barn, hammocks, fireplace by the river,… All in all just beautiful, quiet and clean.

Grand parking, beaucoup de place.
Ne pas compter sur la wifi, on peut s’y connecter mais les pages internet ne fonctionnent pas.

Very nice spot which was really quite even in the morning. Directly by the water and facing the sunset. Not too busy with one other camper.

Beautiful campground right on the Des Moines river. Roughly 18 with electric $12 & several without $7. Honesty box with envelopes to pay. 14 day limit. Cool shops in the little historic town. Fire Pits, water available. Pit toilet. Maybe 10 camping here on a weekend night. Peaceful !

Great free place to rest for the night. Beautiful views all around (320 degrees). Come early to get a good spot- we came at 5pm and snatched a spot at the end of the pier squished between an RV and smaller trailer. Two things to note - there are many RVs around, and no public restroom at night (6pm to 9am). Beautiful sunset facing the pier. Sleep was good, very calm after sundown (occasional vehicles rolling in at night).

If the pier with RVs ain’t your thing, there is also at least two parking lots where you can stay overnight, also saw a few tents pitched up. As someone mentioned lineup for submarine is long but there are also installations outside for a quick tour.
