Dori & Mena | When we arrived around 3pm there were lots of boat trailers and vehicles parked. We asked a city worker if it was ok to stay the night and he said it was fine. The area is very pretty with a historic church, a lovely garden, a small board walk, and a fast food restaurant where they serve rhum and vodka slushies. There are many picnic tables and you will be parked with a lovely view of the water. On the boardwalk there is a sink with running water. Near the boardwalk (in the parking area) there is a 110v plug. You can’t park where the plug is though, that’s reserved for boat trailers. There is a bathroom with flush toilets (two stalls). We also discovered a RV dump station up the road. There is a grocery store and liquor store (SAQ) across the street from the boat launch. This is cottage country so the lakefront houses are charming and locals are very friendly. We really enjoyed our time here. |

noortjeha | The before last parking of the NP (there is 1 gravel parking and 1 tarmac parking after this one). There is a toilet next to this parking which is open during the day (10 som) and where you can buy chewing gum and candy. We parked our car at the side of the parking next to some trees and small cabin. There are people here during the day, but quiet at night. And at this spot it feels private though. Good base to do some nice day hikes in the park up to waterfall. At the tarmac parking at about 3 min walking distance you have a hotel/restaurant and a coffee stand. |
