The before last parking of the NP (there is 1 gravel parking and 1 tarmac parking after this one). There is a toilet next to this parking which is open during the day (10 som) and where you can buy chewing gum and candy. We parked our car at the side of the parking next to some trees and small cabin. There are people here during the day, but quiet at night. And at this spot it feels private though. Good base to do some nice day hikes in the park up to waterfall. At the tarmac parking at about 3 min walking distance you have a hotel/restaurant and a coffee stand.

See above. It‘s all as described. There is also a swimming pool. But I‘m not sure if it is in use.

Standard Walmart parking five or six other RV here.

Place tranquille apart qu’on es vraiment coller sur la route et qu’on entend les auto passer la nuit . Bon pour voiture , si vous voulez planter votre tentes sa risque d’etre dur car c’est un sol de roche mais avec de la détermination c’est faisable !

A long gravel pull off on the side of highway 101. Lots of level spots with an ocean view, sunset, and stars. I slept here for one night with no problems. Cars are loud but very infrequent at night. Two bars version LTE which worked fast. Campground just north of the pull off on highway 101 has showers and bathrooms for campers only but.......

Very quiet place and clean. In front of a church, near a residential area. There are no parking sings from 12am-5am, but we saw other camper Vans in the area and parked in a zone without signs near. The same as every other spot in Portland, don't overstay your welcome and keep it clean for the people that live here.

We were excited to check this place out, but coming south from 78 there is 30 miles of washboard gravel road after the pavement ends. We went for about a mile before turning around. Our 26ft class c and our nerves would have been rattled to bits.

Lovely, hidden gem. Nice, level spots. Great place for a night or the weekend.

Free camping spots along the Lewis and Clark Trail beside the Yellowstone River. Good cell signal. Quiet except for the occassional train.

Nice small campsite next to the farmhouse with very clean ablutions and open kitchen area.
You can ask for wifi available next to the farmhouse.
150 nad ppn including firewood for braai.
Very friendly Familie showing us their animals around.

Good place for one night. Next the forest and 100m far from the road. A lot of space. Bit dirty. Tables and gym facilities

Fresh water spring right at the side of the road with space to pull off the highway. Plenty of water-flow, but no way of connecting a hose.

A local told us about this ground-water spring which he and other locals use to fill their drinking water tanks. Look for it on the right-side in the corner as you enter the parking area.

tipical Parilla place near the river. the road is about 1 km long, and you found many places to park. we spend a quiet night ,we hear only the song of frogs . i don t know how busy is this place in the summer or on weekends .

Nice wild camp and free. Near the river Charente. WC Shower (ask for keys at clapoti restaurant) Free. Restaurant les clapotis 15june 15september open. Calm and quiet ! Nice

We like the place a lot. Great place to "get off the grid" while only 2km from the main road. Unfortunately, we both have Zoom calls today, so we'll be unable to work remotely from here.

stopped here to use the bathroom. as described nice little clean spot right off the highway. sat at a bench and did some creative writing

Nice pull-off, though immediately off the road. Decent mobile reception, too. Two picnic tables, one trash can, and one porta-potty. Did I mention it's immediately off the road?

Self check in through the recreation.gov app. We were the only ones here! Nice clean bathrooms. Lots of turtles in the lake popping their heads up at us, and some big nasty spiders showed up after dark.

Another option in that area (i forgot to enter this when i was there) is to put "Rocky Springs Trailhead" in your google map, once you get there, there is a beautiful overlook site about 1/8 mile west of the trailhead, just drive west down the road, you can't miss it, there are other spots on this road if that is taken.
Free dispersed camping. No cell. About 40 minutes on a dirt road sometimes washboard road.

Very clean.
Was able to do multiple loads at the same time.
Still 3$ the load to wash or to dry.

Amazing place to stay. Great views, quiet neighbors, can even do a little hiking if you want. Good for any size vehicle. Some fire rings. Very popular but lots of room. 2 bars LTE T-Mobile

With camping key card it is €20,- for two persons including electricity during low season. Starting from Sept 1st.
