Nice little stop. There is a dump that is free for campers or $15 for non campers. Potable water and water at the dump site to clean tanks. It is $15 a night now. The camp host was very nice and even gave us some firewood. When you exit the freeway the rest stop is under construction so it looks the off ramp is closed but they have signs pointing in the direction of the campground.

Looked a little sketchy at first but nice private showers. Bathroom and everything was very clean.

Convenient access from the hi-way. Many RVs of all kinds on our arrival and a tenter on the grass. Advisable to use ear plugs for the night, some rigs are loud. Had a good night rest and ready for the next day.

Definitely secluded, 1-party spot, but like others said, room for multiple vehicles. Gotta go back the way you came in to hit any trails as there’s no trail access. Good bit of land to find firewood, previous visitors left a few pieces, did the same myself. Looks like there was a camp shower set up just on the edge of the trees behind the fire pit, you’ll see a nice stone platform. Only problem was lots of mosquitoes for the chilly couple of days I was there, became unnerving to the point I left lol.

stayed here for a night and had the place to ourself! no signage prohibiting overnight parking. it was pretty quiet, and there's a spot where you can be covered by trees so you can't be seen from the road. garbage cans are available.

Small campground, hot showers for quarters, full hookups, tent sites, ADA accessible, pay online only even when arrive, some traffic noise from minor road alongside the place, quirky aviary in the park, good shady trees, flushing toilets, a bit pricey, $44 full and $25 no hook up

Make this more than just a place to sleep. Explore the hiking trails that start from this location. One trail goes down to the beach along a shady canyon that has a clear, flowing stream running through it. Another trail goes down to the town of Stinson Beach, and another one makes a loop up the mountain, around the other side, down to town then back here.

Strong and fast Verizon signal - 92.2 Mbps down/36.9 Mbps up. I would stay here again.

Very nice spot to spend the night. Went there with a 21 ft. trailer + car and we were lucky that the Marina parking in the back was open because it would've been hard to fit both the car and the trailer (unless we un hooked the trailer). Maybe it's always open? Can't tell. But if you have a camper van or RV then the spot is perfect. If you do spend the night there, do the hike. It's definitely worth it.

We were the nighttime picture.

Can confirm the initial description. Great overnight stop, very quiet and protected from the wind E . I arrived late and initially missed the track to the side of the road. Its just before the low water bridge. The last section is not that steep just need some clearance. Woke up to beautiful views of the fish river with sand grouse and fish Eagle calls. There are some mosquitos and a large troop of baboons that sleep on the cliffs but they didn't bother me and its nice to watch them swim in the river in the morning. Definitely recommend this spot. Nice big flat area and conveniently located off the b1.

This place is now called Twin Rivers. Camping is R80 pppn. Riverside setting although water levels may be low in summer. Clean solar showers, no electricity, but water taps everywhere, lots of space, some shade under tall pine trees, mainly grassed sites. Friendly owners.

Decent spot to park, no signs on the street restricting hours. The municipal code makes car camping illegal but there are a ton of camping vans all over this neighborhood so I don't think it's enforced.
