Signs right off the hwy say "no vehicles" and "no camping." Looks like it's just a parking lot for the hiking trail. We kept going.

Also check out Briar Island - there’s pics of the walking trails and picnic sites.

Small local brewery. Good beer. Can accommodate one 30 foot rig. They have hookups, but I did not need them. Great ATT coverage. Quiet location in industrial park. Dan the owner is a super cool guy. Highly recommend.

In the Allegany National Forest, near Warren PA. Supposedly light use, but mostly full with reservations. The website said it was first come first served after Labor Day, but not true.

Open till 7pm. Plenty of parking. Picnic area has a sink with faucet to fill up any large water containers. Plenty of shade and area to walk your pets. Very family friendly and clean. Clean bathrooms. Large trash dumpster and lots of small trash cans around. No overnight parking. They lock the gates at night.

As described by many this place and Roberto are awesome! NOTICE: Price has increased significantly to 150 per person/night. This he said due to limits put on his occupancy by local authorities . They are limiting him to 30 people on the weekends where he used to make his living. If you are staying Long Term or weekdays you can likely negotiate as he is a really nice guy. Best two nights sleep we have had in our Jeep all year! Park all the way at the back and there are stairs to the river and an opening for solar. We have been to 10 hot springs in Mexico but these are the first that are really hot.

Very friendly owners, basic but perfect if you can live without the unnecessary stuff.

went there today, there is a sign up saying 'temporarily unavailable' and access is blocked. spoke with the owner and doesn't sound like it will be available anytime soon. something to do with complaints about the smell and local authorities shutting it down. shame, as nowhere else in town.

We arrived at 1pm on a Thursday in mid October and literally snagged the very last RV spot. The host said the site was probably only vacant for a few min because the previous campers left late. And I don't know how many RVs came circling through the loops looking for a spot after us.
56 spots but very busy during high season! We did see a couple of open tent spots. $20/night. Vault toilets. 1-2 bars of LTE for Verizon and att. Our TMobile hotspot says it has a bar but our phones say no internet from that hotspot.

Very nice beach with a few restaurants and each with its own parking lot, all down the hill from the entrance, where the sign is. You can drive down, if there’s space.
Didn’t ask, but this would be an awesome place to stay, if any of the restaurants allow.

Same as everyone else. Nice door. Verizon was 3 bars not 4. Quiet….mostly. I’m not a fan of blarring, thumping music. But clearly others are. I parked as far away from as I could. The advice above about the washed out riverbed is real…DRIVE VERY SLOW and you’ll be fine. I have fwd 2011 Ford transit connect and it was ok. But once get passed that the road is much better. The first few spots were 5th wheelers …and they’ve clearly been here a while.
