Check-Ins

This campground is located on the corner of 9th Ave and 1st St. It is a well-treed campground, all sites are electrified, feature a wood-burning BBQ (wood not provided), and a picnic table. An RV Dump station, washroom, and free showers are located steps away. Also nearby is Lions Park that has many amenities including a Spray Park, Playground, Tennis Courts, and much more. Campgrounds are open from May 1st to September 30th. Check-in: 1:00pm Check-out: 11:00am. Reservations are taken on a first-come/first-serve basis. Reservations open April 1st. This is a great place to stay while attending events at the Brian King Centre or Arthur Neufeld Soccer Pitch

Relatively quiet, well-lit free parking in front of an apartment building.

Nice spot just off the highway. About 5 to 7 spots. Some with fire pits. Nice a quiet as the sun goes down and less traffic.

Excellent campground. Vault toilets were very clean. Dumpsters for garbage and fresh water at numerous locations throughout the campground. Single sites are $12 for seniors and military. Good ATT and T-Mobile signal.

Very nice parking lot. Clock rings every hour and tells you what time it is...on the hr every hr! Also, there are trains that come in a few time a night. But nice and the downtown is beautiful.

This place is as everybody else has described, distant road noise from I-80, slow cell service (2 bars AT&T), very little traffic on the road and bridge, nobody except me camping here, stayed one night.

Solid spot, was pretty windy, but no bugs. Toilets are okay. Pretty sure a bear came through camp. Would still stay again, not great, not terrible

went to this spot and there was no overnight sign. didnt spend the night there.

Awakened with a few knocks by the park ranger. cant sleep here overnight. I thought it was a couple of local kids trying to mug my car but as I drove off it was actually a ranger...

We were looking for Wifi and found out you can have it parking in front of St John public library. We spent 1 night , the street is quiet, the Wifi is good .

parking lot for Eagle mtn trailhead. flat, pit toilet, no cell service

this is a small place, clean and clean bathroom. but it seemed to take me longer to do my clothes. one reason the large dryer. while big, didn't seem to dry the clothes very well.

Completely empty when I arrived, so I got a cute nook with bushes and shade. The road is a little phucked so clearance is recommended. No T mobile service 3-4 bars of Verizon. Clean & peaceful. Signs prohibit campfires however none of them indicate no camping. Flat and easily accessible with the appropriate clearance.

Overnight parking Welcome behind the church. You can find a small enveloppe near the church an give à donation. Near the sea

Nice spot between 2 rail road track , old industrial area . Not too fare away .

Driving down here needs very good offroad skills. We did it with our Land Cruiser on 33" wheels, was ok. Cannot recommend smaller wheels, will scratch the underfloor for shure.
Place is pretty busy down here. Lots of people stayed here in tents.

Nice place with great view. Please don't use the chum bucket. Animals take the trash arround everywhere.

You can pass the night accordingly to the guy. But he recommends the hotel from the Ejido (in charge of the lakes, he accepted that he is recommending this because he is from the ejido jajaja).

Great highway rest stop with amenities as listed with several other cars, campers and truckers also here. A good spot to stop for a night while driving this empty stretch of highway.

lots of no camping signs. i would not try it here. first sign says no camping at all in the park.

Very peaceful as described. Maybe a dozen campsites. With outhouses! Only one other tent camper here on Labor Day weekend. No camp host or ranger. Kind of an abandoned campground. One Verizon bar. Room for big rigs.

nice place next to NP Tividend. Hot shower, restaurant, and very quiet

Take the right onto the gravel road right after the sign for Freshwater Inn.
We didn’t actually stay here but we thought it was nice and there are no “no camping “ signs.
There’s a lovely large gravel area that’s flat and suitable for rigs of all sizes. The 1.5 km trail to the point is beautiful and there were lots of wild blueberries when we were here Sept 4
There’s two sets of double Adirondack chairs for sitting but no other facilities
Leave no trace!

really one of best places of Rumania, maybee busy on weekend when weather is good.

Stayed in H.D. parking lot. a couple other cars were there. no signs prohibiting overnight. decent spot.
