We stayed there for a night. Clean toilets and hot showers. Paid 15€ for two people and a van. Nobody was there by arrival. We just opens the gate and parked on the site.

At the end of the dirt road you come to a locked gate. There’s a small parking lot at the trail head. No sign. Nobody around at all. Excellent spot.

A really lovely place. You can camp very well without being seen by many people. It is best to carry your luggage there. A motorcycle is easy to push there. Driving is not allowed. The toilet is surprisingly clean, with light, a flush and even running water for hand washing. Soap and disinfectant were also filled. So check it out.

We had the whole place to ourselves. We pulled up behind one of the palapas on the hard packed sand. The beach is clean and the sunset and sunrise are amazing. There is foot traffic early around 7 am which may disturb your sleep if not an early riser. 2 to 4 bars of Telcel service. Editing post the entrance off the road is very loose sand. No issues entering; however, we could not get out in our 2 wheel drive Ram Promaster. We searched for alternative routes only to find dead ends. A local guided us to one dead end and finally a cut in a fence that allowed us to access a road. Very scary and not worth it.

National Park you need your Discovery pass to visit.
It was ok after asking the agent, to park our travel-trailer at the far end to be able to visit the city of St-John’s during the afternoon.
Great panoramic views.
Many short trails.
Very windy.

Just wanted to update this site. Still no "no overnight" sign or anything.
Pretty close to the road but it was good for the night.
Big rocks and holes to go up, totally doable carefully. We have a 21 foot.
Internet reception is good.

Nice large parking area. Decent ATT&T cell service. Even though it’s off the highway a bit, there is quite a bit of road noise. We also had a helicopter circle above us a couple of times between midnight and 1 am. It became very busy with early morning hikers around 6 am. Being that it is a trailhead, that is to be expected. Overall, beautiful spot.

Parked overnight on Elizabeth street. No ticket or door knock. There was a fair bit of foot traffic through the street but it stopped pretty early. Sound of the ocean during the night. Walked to breakfast in the morning. Lots of other folks parked in the area overnight, mostly older vans and busses and some cars. Have to wonder how long before this cute little tourist town shuts it down. But for now it works, especially on a holiday weekend when all the parks are full.

Pretty decent spot by the river and it was quiet enough.
As people said, picnic table, garbage bin and we also had a bit of trouble with internet services, it was on and off.

Next to the SIMILKAMEEN River. Sandy shoreline. Beautiful scenery. We moved locations but show photos of both spots. One other van just up the road in another nice pull off.

Because several overnight places were closed because of Covid, we asked the chief of security of Walmart to let us stay in our motorhome on the parking lot for the night (as you can on many Walmarts). Unfortunately, he declined.

We arrived Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closing down at 16.00h because of Covid (Monday it's closed as well). We neither got wifi (need guest registration, but office was closed) nor electricity (policy does not allowed it). No bathroom or shower either, but the big Bernhardiner dog is friendly.

Small gravel lot in Canadian tire parking lot no signs saying no overnight parking. Also some 24 hour parking on the street leading up to this. Good for a night when you have a ferry in the morning

After a long week at Renegade Burning Man in Black Rock City, we were too tired to drive far. So thankful for this oasis after the desert. it has a few RVs here but it's nice and quiet. Beautiful resevoir. No Verizon signal. Dog-friendly. Flat open space with grass and a few trees.

Gravel parking lot. There was a sign that says no overnight parking but there were so many camper vans and cars there that parked overnight.

Had a great sleep! No one bothered us. Just make sure you’re gone before 6am.
