We spent the night here in our sprinter with another group who was in a short bus. I am
Unsure if NPS allows overnight camping but we did not have any issues. Came in late and we were the only ones here. People started showing up in the early am for photo ops and such but we stayed and had breakfast. Ok Verizon service. No facilities. Killer view.

Because I turned right

Hidden under trees, perfect for some privacy. Noise level a bit high, off a country highway. But otherwise, very nice place for a night. Ladies that own the property are very nice, kind and helpful. Safe place to sleep.

Only campground far and wide. First we counted 150 Qpro night, then only 100 Q. And because we were there twice (over 3 weeks in total) we also got a night for free. Electrical connection here and there (good to have an extension cable), water to refill and a sewer. Very basic rustic shower (cold) and toilet. Walk to Antigua, take Uber to Guatemala City. Friendly but distant staff. Loud music from morning to evening, in the back seats it is quieter. On weekends a lot going on (like everywhere in Central America) WiFi went sometimes, sometimes not

beautiful place! the price for foreigners are now 150 Pesos per person. we spent the whole day here. There is a little Food truck for drinks and food. You can sleep there with your Camper but it's very expensive (700 pesos).
The water is very nice and cleare and not to cold, perfect for swimming.

A large parking lot with spaces designated for longer vehicles. Lever spaces in a well lit lot. I stayed several nights with no issue.

stayed here for the night. Only one other van in the lot. when we pulled in we saw signs that said "no overnight parking, violaters will be ticketed" we decided to call the store and ask about it. they say it's cool to stay here as long as you stay out of the way closer to the Goodwill.

Awesome lakeside campsites, but mind that not every site is drive-in. Some you have to walk a short distance from your car. Also there is some car noise from the road. But you put up with those things for a waterfront site. $20 a night

Nice spot down by the river. No issues getting down the road. Couple people here fishing as we arrived. Only one or two other cars around.

This place was beautiful. Definitely worth the drive. There is a sign on the ‘main’ path indicating a right turn for high rock bay. Take that till it ends. Once you make that turn be prepared for a very rough ride. It took me approx 30mins to go the 3ish miles and I drive a stock 4Runner. I was concerned about space but there were plenty of spots. Everyone was respectful and it was clean. The only ‘disturbance’ was a group of quads that came in around 11 to set up camp. But they stayed quiet after the initial drive in. As a single mom with her teenage kid I would 100% go back out again.

I stayed overnight Friday. It was quiet and there were no signs for overnight or camping. We parked in the pictured rocks cruise lot at the back by the beach. It’s really well lit and we saw worked randomly. I knew they opened at 8 so we made sure to be gone before then.

Well established campground with room for rvs, campers, and tents. Picnic table, fire ring, water and electrical hook ups at most sites. Bathrooms with showers available. There was a ranger on site that met us at our site when we arrived. Made reservation over the phone same day since their website required the reservation to be made at least 2 days in advance. Overall, good place to camp - only caution is to beware of the mosquitoes!

Great place! Multiple pull offs along the road for vehicles who can’t make it on sand. You will need a vehicle able to handle sand. We had a Jeep Gladiator with a RTT and still got stuck on the way back out.

Aired down, dug out and had some friendly guys push us back onto harder sand. Then took a different route out with no issue.

Beautiful camping o the beach and pretty chill. Beach is long and you can camp wherever, just make sure you’re above high tide.

There are some areas before the beach for camping as well. We went Labor Day so it was busy but my gf said she never felt safer than this spot. We went far down the beach and couldn’t see another vehicle until everyone’s toys came out in the AM.

Free spot on residential side street up the hill from Walker Art Institute. Might be tough for larger rigs depending on how much space is available as street is on a bit of a curve. Pay attention to signage- no parking on either side of the spot. Bathrooms in Walker Art Institute are available when museum is closed.
