Others descriptions are accurate enough for what I can tell. We have a 23ft MH, so we stopped at the first place. There is a sizeable dip we felt we probably would drag our rear. A taller or shorter vehicle would probably be fine. The first two places before that are not level, but slant so we had a hard time trying to scoop up a few piles of gravel to sit on for level to slide out our bed. Works fine for overnight. Very much cooler than Death Valley! 😄 Even though the sun was obscured all day by smoke. Nice night wind here and will probably be in the mid 50s tonight. I'm happy to have this place and even to ourselves as of 8:30pm.

This area is older but very well kept. There's a park right in the middle with equipment for kids to play. This is an area largely for van-lifers. The streets are large and not crowded. There are apartment buildings around the corner where street parking I'd common. A few blocks from fuel and shopping. I saw no posting against overnight parking. It's close to Hiway 5 but far enough that you can't hear the traffic. Very nice really. Please respect our neighbors.

Entry fee is 100 pp. Doesn't matter if you in for the tour or not, so it's worth doing the tour. It is nice and informative.
Opening hours are 08:00-13:00 everyday.
Tour hours:
Monday - Saturday : 09:30, 11:00.
Sunday : 10:00.
Tour takes around 45 mins

very clean laundromat about 20 washing machines and 20 dryers spacious have the entire place to ourselves midday Monday bathrooms open

The campsite is good with good ablutions and a place for laundry! The walkway towards the falls is very good with 5 lookout points. The prices fair. Baboons a bit of a problem but keep your camper closed at all times.

the local anti-poaching guy came by in the morning said it's super safe here. we saw a seal.

no 4x4 required, we arrived by Renault Kwid rental car :-). not so scenic drive in but the gorge is nice.

big rig probably ok to turn around... depends on the driver, the rig and the sense of adventure I suppose...

Handy for an overnight stop in port hardy.
The parking lot was deserted the whole night, we parked against the bushes away from the buildings.

Cozy, small campsite close to the beach. About 8 spots. Nice to relax and stay a little longer!
Veranda, couches to hang out, outdoor kitchen, trees for hammocks. Breakfast and dinner on request.
About 5 minute walk to sand beach.
Relaxed and sympathic owners. Closed the camp for end of season on 1st of October 2021

Nice spot along the lake. A few fire rings so I guess in the summer it can be a bit crowed but in late September we were alone.

Stayed one night in front of the Safeway, it’s a parking lot so it’s well lit and not too much surrounding noise. No bathrooms around but Safeway opened early and we were able to use the bathroom as early as 6:30am. No one bothered us in the lot, pretty decent area.

Usual Walmart Parking. We arrived here at 5:45 pm and didn’t see any other campers.

If you looking for a good free spot outside of the National park this is one of the best places so far.
Pretty clean and enough spots for more then 15 vehicle’s.
Stayed here three nights. Big noise from the highway and one night some guys had a party there, but it was ok. Locals said in summer this place is always full.

Great state park - cheaper if you have a NJ ID - BEWARE OF TICKS. Got swarmed by nymph ticks. All over me & my dog. Mainly walking through the disc golf area but this whole park is known for having lots of them

Kinda muddy this time if year but decent dirt road to lake. Peaceful down here & killer view but not level enough for our old Chevy even with blocks.

Fuel station Shell, with wi fi and bathrooms! quiet, friendly people in the shop! shell en los Cerrillos, lugar tranquilo para pasar la noche, wi fi, baños, y personal muy amable!

This was a perfect spot for an overnight camp. Tight turns down to the spot, would not recommend if towing or anything larger than a van. The creek nearby creates an all night water rapids sound. Very quiet.

Very clean little laundrymat, a couple of large machines for bigger loads. Restroom, free wifi, snack machine, change machine. Open 7 days a week till 10pm, last load at 845p. They also accept Payrange app for electronic payments if you don't have cash!

This is still the advised road between Goha gate and Kasane; the more direct one is the old one.

Stayed three nights no problem. Pretty quiet at night, lots of activity during the day. It looked like the formal restrooms were closed for renovation but there were some port-a-potty’s to use (bring your own TP and hand sanitizer!)

Great find! Extra large, deep sites, far apart, most are right on lake. Beautiful campground. Many extra-clean pit toilets, water and recycling. A lot of hiking trails. About 15 sites. Dark and beautiful. Close to Grand Marais! $18 a night, $9 with a pass.

Stayed here a few nights. Corps of engineers land. No no camping signs. Nothing special, can be noisy when NASCAR is in town. Need a signal booster probably for ATT service.

Reportedly cheapest gas, 3.49 as we were there, saves a good buck for big tanks and overnight parking for RVs provided (double saving) - see other point
