Nice camp site that wasn't busy in early October. Has a mix of forested sites and sunny sites. The mosquitos were bad when I was here in July, but not a problem in October.

Did not stay over night but this will definitely be put on the list of future boondocking adventures. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

I was going to stay at the Walmart in town but it was way too busy with too much traffic. I drove up here and indeed you need a permit from about the middle of November through is thru the middle of April. Apparently this is a ski resort area. However I'm here in the beginning of October and I do believe based on the signage that I was reading you don't have to have a permit to stay up here during the off season . This is an awesome place to park. There is a pet toilet. It is super is is supremely quiet. And there are ample places to park your rig. I'm looking forward to a good night Sleep away from the city under the trees and the mountain peaks.

Clean water in dog park. Spigot is about 30 meters from road and isn’t threaded so only good for water bottles or cans.

Decent quiet spot close to the park and the springs to park at. Fairly level. The gate is a barbed wire fence you detach. Would be easier to set back up with two people. Worth a stop for a free place.

Great little dump spot except the people who park and block you from being able to pull in properly so just park on the street behind the pump

Back open now! Stayed for 2 nights and had to place basically to ourselves. Plenty of sites to choose from, no one bothered us for fish and wildlife permits. A bit of a bumpy dirt road to get up there but otherwise fine.

Woman behind the counter told us they didn't have the key and directed us back to the RV park down the road for fill up.

If you ask them kindly, they might won't even charge you for taking a shower.
Good place to fill up your water too.
I bet it is an amazing place to stay.

We tried to get to this site after dark which was very difficult. We entered from the south which actually had a road closed sign. Roads appear to be logging roads at best. We managed to do it with a 2WD Sprinter but would feel much more comfortable with 4X4/ high clearance. The road between this site and Baysville is moderately difficult and would be challenging if it was wet/raining. However if you can get to the site you'll overlook a beautiful small lake surrounded by beautiful Forrest. One site that can hold one trailer/van and tent with water access. One site across the lake good for tent camping.

Slept like a baby in between two semis. Couldn't find any open WiFi network, but had solid data service. Nice place to sleep and not be bothered by anyone. Quiet at night except for some idling trucks, which was fine because it was like white noise.

Around 20 spots along the river valley, several pit toilets. More spots if you continue past a section of private property.
Very quiet (Monday night in early Oct),
good scenery.

Stretch of car parks and streets adjacent to leafy open public space and bike path beside the river. Community centre nearby. Plenty of vans, schoolies and small rigs. Signs that say no parking, but plenty of folks doing it. No amenities. Backroad road noise.

Good road in. Past the campground there are established dispersed campsites about 100 yds apart. Many people camping and a lot of ATV’s but no real problem

Spent the night here, conveniently close to Death Valley, right before you enter the fee area for the National park. There was a short RV, and a few vans parked along the way too and no one had any trouble. There are no signs preventing overnight camping, and seems no one cares. Decent view, and fairly nice dirt road had no trouble with our transit or low clearance car.

Paid 18,- euro for a car and 2 persons without electricity. Additional 3,- for electricity.

Absurd add to the price if you want to make a fire…5,- euros.

Everything else as stated, nicely kept en good location in a small campsite. Two pitched are the most level for other places you need to level out.

We had the whole place to ourselves. It’s October so there isn’t a lot of tourists anywhere in NS at the moment!
We cleaned up some trash left behind by others. I trust it wasn’t someone from the iOverlander community!
It’s a quiet place for a night. There are several picnic tables, trash cans and a gazebo but the power outlet was not working.
The Superstore is within walking distance.
