Beautiful lake and 6 sites are nice gravel pads. Too bad some people don’t get the simple concept pack in pack out! Had to do garbage pick up before setting up camp. Had the place to myself!

Bathrooms and other facilities closed for the winter, but Multnomah Falls bathrooms/water open 1/4 mile away. The lot is not large and the road runs right through it. Even so, someone pulled up and started doing donuts at night. Fortunately a sprinter van pulled up to sleep and the donut car left. Several hikers parked here early in the morning. Some mild train noise, but fortunately no horn.

Amazing little spot right at the top
of the hairpin road! Only room for a small car in the lay-by or a tent and bike can be part tucked into the rocks at the trail at the side of the road. There is a serious drop off and very exposed to the elements, so not for the faint hearted. Incredible views, very little traffic, we were rewarded with a morning view of the snow caps we will never forget.

Nice campsites between the trees so lots of shade. Braai and water at each site. Good abblution block. No water after 8.30 at night till the next morning (9.00) because of the solar system. Hyena's roam the sites at night and vervet monkeys during the day. The office opens at 6.00-6.30 in the morning so check out the night before if you want to leave early.

This is the only place we found at the beaches from Puerto Angeles to Mazunte for bigger RV's. It's a beautiful garden where you park on concretes. You will have a nice pool and the bath rooms are basic but clean. Only problem, the entrance is blocked by some trees and if you are high you will crash some branches. 400 Pesos but incl electricity and dump it is ok.

25Qpp per day. entrance is very small. We just passed with our 1.7m width van. Many low branches for our 1.75m high van but we managed. Flat parking area.

The property around the canyon is owned by the electricity company who are using part of the water for a hydropower plant further downstream.
Years ago they allowed people to park and camp on their beautiful property. But because there were huge problems with the trash visitors left everywhere access today is only possible on foot.

If I understood correctly, it is still allowed to camp in a tent on the property.
For vehicles there is a small parking area next to the road a few meters up the road from the canyon.
We talked to the very friendly and helpful guard in the small house another few meters up the road and he told us camping there was no problem and very safe because the police drove by regularly at night.
He also offered us potable water from a tab outside the house.
Other than that there are no facilities.

Few cars during the night, some traffic during the day. We had a good free night.

Definitely a sketchy fuel station. Didn't get scammed on the fuel (I always leave the car to open the fuel cap myself anyways) and always check that it's zeroed, but while I was doing so a creepy dude tried to get my mobile phone through the half-open drivers window while my wife was still sitting on the passenger seat. An angry stare from her solved it. Weird town in general. Despite Google saying that there is only one fuel station there are definitely many down the road. This was the puma station, just a few 100m further on the other side is another Uno station.

$15 for "tent site" (in van, no problem). The only difference between tent and dry RV sites is that the RV sites are larger, pull-theough, and twice as much.

Arrived on Sunday afternoon. Showers and bathrooms were a bit of a wreck - trash all over floor, shower floors not cleaned in a while. Yeah bins located outside of the restrooms were overflowing with trash and animals got into then and dragged everything around. Not sure if it's always this trashy or if they're just short-staffed but I'd have been unhappy if I paid more than $15!

There were two women's shower stalls and one of them had better water pressure than the other. My bf reported that one of the men's stalls only had cold water.

Internet is satellite and works best if you're literally sitting outside of the gas station across the street. They have some patio furniture out there. Don't expect to download anything of a significant size! No cell service on Verizon.

Burgers were decent at the restaurant across the street and the outdoor seating was nice. The "milkshakes" at the gas station are just some Blue Bunny ice cream that they mix until it's liquid - for $7.50!

Basically worth it due to location and a shower for a low price but not much else to recommend it.

It is a restaurant recent established with a camping site (R$ 25/a day per person) and a house with accomodations for about 42 people (R$ 60 per person in the low season/R$ 120 on the high season). There's a pool everyone can use and a playground for children. The camping site has electricity (127v and 220v), potable water (no sink nearby the camping site though, you neef to walk awhile to get to one), bathrooms with hot showers and a pool table for playing billiards. There's also a small pond where you can fish some catfish.

the host Igor is a kind person and welcomed me and my wife with a heartfelt reception. All and all a pleasant surprise near O Figueiral Park, and I recommend this to anyone nearby.

Gas station (cheaper than Torrey).
Awesome selection of organic groceries!
The only complaint is nothing had a price listed but overall food was very reasonable priced for the area. Highly recommend stopping here for groceries! We filled our gas tank and purchased groceries... they graciously let us fill our water tank at their frost free valve. Not sure if they leave the water on all winter long as cashier wasn't certain of the water was still on but luckily it was as of November 8th:)

Arrived around 9pm on a Saturday night and just parked in the middle of the lot because it was very crowded. I stayed here until Thursday morning, visiting the parks each day. Every night it got very busy & there are no defined spots, so people can park right on top of you. It's fine if you're just parking overnight & leaving during the day, but no privacy or "personal space".
On a positive, it's very easy to get to & good T-Mobile service.

Georgia -> Armenia Good roads at the Georgian and Armenian site. Al little bumpy at the Armenian site but not more than you find in the rest off the country. Very helpful officials. Leaving Georgia was no problem. They asked for a PCR test. I showed them the test we used for entering the country (1 week old) and my vaccination certificate and that was oke.
Entering Armenia: we had to show:
- Covid vaccination certificate
- car papers (our car is registered at a company name so I have to show drivers permission)
The asked for insurance but didn’t check. We bought it in advanced online http://www.aswa.am/
We had to pay Tax at the customs €16,- or 9000 AMD You can pay with Euro Dollar. The temporary import is valid for the periode of 1 year.
The Armenian customs checked the car inside and outside.
Last but not leased: It’s cold and windy in November

We did not stay but viewed the site, a beautiful place amongst the rocks. They have a couple of sites suitable for big rigs. Not pet friendly as they have their own dogs who live on the premises.

This is a hotel and hot springs. You can get a room or get a day pass. I stayed there 4 days and nights, parked my skoolie bus outside and got a day pass to use the facilities. They have a hot tub, a pool, fire pit, cooking facilities, music, games, couches and tv, bathrooom and shower! All for day pass use!
They are open 24 hours so you can come and go as you please. It’s quiet and safe. Desert hot springs looks a little sketchy around this place but they have cameras all over the property and it’s safe! I can’t wait to go back! Day passes are $30 and they have free filtered drinking water! And Ezzy the manager is amazing! It’s open to 420, clothing optional, etc!

We really enjoyed our stay at this nice campsite with such a fantastic view. Two of the for campsites have their own bathroom. Each campsite has got a shelter for some shade and a view onto a waterhole where kudu, DikDik and zebra can be seen. Unfortunately it was quite windy in the afternoon and evening. There is no electricity in the camp but in the bathroom they have light (solar?) and candles. Price is 160 N$ pppn.
