Very nice and friendly peoples! We paued 36pesos for 18 gallons. To fill in the tank of the van they have a hose, just go on the right side of the white building, they will open the gate and we went in with our van.

Natl Park campground. Loop A first come first served. Convenient right in the park and just 0.4 mi to the rim trail. Easy access and all size rigs. Good Verizon LTE at the sites closest to the Visitor Center, weaker signal further in.

Called ahead and got the green light for overnights. Only request was not to park near the front of the store, that's a no brainer. Right side of the parking lot is more level, though left side is more unused. Train rolled through about 8pm, and some sirens. Other than that it's a peaceful spot.

A wide, flat empty parking lot for boat access to the lake. 4 bars of Verizon 4g. close residential neighbors, so made sure to keep things quiet and stayed for about 24hours with no visitors/boaters... beginning of the shoulder season. amazing morning views.

One of the better spots on the 525 forest road. The dust isn’t as bad here. Shared the space with 4 others. Stayed for a week and had nice sunsets. Ok cell signal.

Easy overnight. We tried two pins south of here and both were a bust. Good cell service on ATT and large dumpsters. Flying J, coming through in a pinch!

We didn’t find this location at the exact coordinates listed, but drove less than half a mile farther south and found a side road and pullout area. We drove a short way down the side road and didn’t see good camp spots prior to a large washout, so we ended up camping in the pullout area. It was quiet and there was not much traffic, but it’s close to the road so there is not a lot of privacy. Wouldn’t strongly recommend unless you just need a safe place to crash for the night, as there are better areas to camp closer to Ajo and Why.

this is a small car park just after Mucross house. the park gives access to the grounds of the national park. no signs of no overnight parking.

Great little spot. I only seen one other vehicle that did not look like they where camping. Cell service and not far from Bryce Canyon. Some trees if you need them.

Top Space, we were here alone and the owner was very kind to give us everything we needed !

During dry season, there is an access to Gonarezhou NP at this point (Which is not on OSM maps)

4×4 and high clearance are mandatory as you will cross the water on the sandy bed.

On the tarred road, A10, coming from Checheche, turn left just before the Save river bridge.

Follow "Chilo gorge safari lodge" signs, and pass the lodge.
then, a few km later, a sign indicates Gonarezhou NP, on the right.

The original description is OK. Stayed here for one night.

Although there's no assigned RV/Bus long parking spots as Cracker Barrel normally has, we were 3 RVs parked here for the night.

Was going to stay but the road down was full of a lot of large puddles, if it rained anymore not sure I would have gotten out with my car.

Nice place, but seems like a local hangout judging by all the beer cans around. Decided to move on to Gosling lake

Called ahead & was instructed to park on the side of the lot closest to Burger King, which is opposite where other reviews say to park. Not sure if they changed their preferences, or if it really matters.
The train woke me up a few times, but no other noise or disturbances beyond that. A few other vans and RVs were in the lot as well.

Really nice spot, super natural, near the mountains and in the middle on a really beautiful garden. On November 2021 it was open. We payed 240M$ for 2 peoples and a tent. A lot of Mexicans during the weekend. 10M$ for a combi to Tepoztlán. Great restaurant “Quetzalcoatl something” in Amatlán, 5min walking. Just, be careful, there is scorpion during this season in this area ;)

A welcome oasis, a small, safe place to stop for the night after crossing the border before heading south. Dora and Luis made us feel welcome. No shower, just a toilet, 150 Ps for our Toyota Sienna sleep in car.

Stayed two nights. Lovely short wooded walk to the creek. Very busy. Several cars coming and going both days all day and one other van the first night. Minimal road noise and some phone signal. Trash and recycling bins.

this place still exists as described. I was also able to squeeze behind the trailer to hide from the street and leave at sun up.

Very basic and also expensive. A kitchen you can use in theory but is used a lot by owners. Can take bicycles into rooms. Good location for the sights of Rio grande (of which there are none).

We arrived around 6pm. We told the reception guy that we wanted to visit the park the next morning and asked if it was okay to stay the night. Everything was fine and there was a sink with soap, but the toilets were closed during the night. No traffic during the night, so it’s a very quiet place.
