As said before, nice place by the river, quiet. The spot in the forest has a fire pit. We chose the one in front of the river, there's a flat grassy patch.

free overnight parking. big RV can easilly park here and then take colectivo to go to city center. we ask for stay by night at the office and people say yes but don't park close to the building because of refill water truck.
2 quiet night here. 4G is good

Absolutely beautiful view with incredible sunsets. One of the best campsites I've stayed at. Great T-Mobile service with booster.

I wasn’t too sure about this hotel from the outside, as there does even appear to be a name, just a huge Hotel sign, but I arrived late and was desperate. Great hotel! Just $250MEX solo. Big double room with a good hot shower. Nice firm bed and pillows.

The door locks on the inside, but there is no key. The guy downstairs didn’t seem to think one was needed, and I wasn’t too worried, as rooms are internal.

There was a descent sized walled car park from what I could see too.

I don’t worry about wifi, so don’t know if it has it or not.

Nice spot just 1 mile off the pavement. Requires reservation/permit. If you pick your line in the difficult sections you should be ok in 2WD but it is a 4x4 trail so use your common sense. Rocky area but flat. Marked clearly so easy to find. No Verizon or AT&T LTE. No shade. Pack it in, pack it out along with the previous tenants trash. No fires

I called and asked if I could stay overnight. I was told that because it’s a brewery people frequently leave their cars and I would not be towed. She didn’t exactly say “yes” but gave reasons why I could. I stayed with no issues. Two bars Verizon. Quiet after brewery closed at 9 pm.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting loreto. Very walkable and very minimal noise for a city. Also you can pick up the wifi from the hotel and it works great!

Awesome spot, just be careful as if it rains or there is flooding you will get stuck. But it’s a peaceful little oasis. Driving in it goes from barren desert to a little Forest with lots of birds, springbok, and goats. Also the stars at night are incredible.

Wow!! What a beautiful place! Lovely smell of wine in the air. Facilities are excellent, shower and bathroom extremely clean, outdoor potable water from the taps/hose outside the door next to the kitchen. We didn't eat dinner or breakfast here so we can't comment but I'm sure they would be excellent.
Hans was a tremendous host and spoke perfect English
3000 for two of us and our campervan. There is a parking area under canopies on the left as you drive in, but we were too big to fit under them. Electricity plugs can fit any plug type as they are universal.
Okay 3g Movistar and bad 3g Claro. However if you park on the side closest to the main building you can access one of the WiFi points from your van. The range is limited in the overlanders area however, but plentiful in the main building.
Highly recommended, thank you Hans!!

I was looking for a campsite in Kernville but they were all very expensive, so we stayed on a carpark spot just next to the river at the recreational site. It does not say forbidden overnight and was safe too. The park also has benches and BBQ stoves.

Great help. I got stuck with my troopy in Montevideo, ferry left early, needed help to store my car and take it on next ferry. Owner Timo was recommended from shipping agent KMA in Montevideo and seabridge Germany. Timo and staff are trustworthy, all went well, helped to get affidavit from lawyer, put car to the harbour though the ship was early, (good cooperation with shipping agent, who informed Timo in advance) All went well, all friendly, all trustful. I recommend this service from all what I kno. Thank you, Timo and staff

There is a crossing/intersection from the hwy you can take to get off to here. it's pavement for about 50 feet then just a dirt road. it's dry but well used and rutted. I hit the first spot to the right as you cross over a dirt road intersection. Windy as hell most of the night and day. This area gets windy frequently. but a decent night's sleep. good Cell signal. 1 other person was out here overnight I could see, but plenty of areas and space to spread out. There is a massive wind farm to the west. biggest 1 I've seen.

Amazing views & perilous drive. $400/night rv camping. Slow Wi-Fi. Decent restaurant onsite. The views are impecable. I drove in with my 2wd 21’ ram promaster and I don’t know if I’d do that again. Definitely the largest vehicle here today including the day visitors. Looks like there’s only two campsites taken tonight. If you look closely at the photo of the mountain, that’s the one lane dirt road getting here.
