Two nights of peaceful sleep. Great location on this side of Savannah. They do have a security car that moves around. Woke up this morning to it parked right next to me. Definitely be stealth.

This location is labeled closed but it's open, I'm sitting in the parking lot now. It's very nice here. It's not only a public boat ramp but there is a little public park w/ pavilions, swing set for the kids, and bathrooms. The parking lot is level and there is some road noise from the local highway but I bet at night it's quiet, as other users have mentioned. I'm not spending the night but I don't see any signs restricting overnight parking.

Simple but clean and cheap guesthouse. 10000 Ugx for a double room with mosquito net.Not self contained. Toilet and bathing room (jerrican) outside.Bicycles fit in the room.

this spot is beautiful!! BUT there are some cons to consider.

the road here is quite bumpy especially right in the beginning there are quite a few sharp edged rocks that you have to drive thru. we have a 24ft rv and got in with not too many issues but still a lot on the transmission with all the shaking and maneuvering.
another issue is the internet, we have mint mobile and t mobile and we had VERY spotty signal and we were hoping to stay here for a week and do work but the signal is not good enough. we were both getting 2,3,4 bars and then it would cut out completely. so not stable for working remotely.

were here on april 10th, and it's extremely windy. the rv was rocking all night and it was hard to be outside with the winds. Definitely check windy.com for what the weather is like up here.

we ended up staying only one night and leaving jn rhe morning.

other than that, if you can catch this spot in perf condition it's very very beautiful with the overlook.

I have visited here several times. The road is never in good shape but passable, probably even in a passenger sedan. Place looked a little trashy this time. It was about half full on a Saturday night, which surprised me some. (Mostly the ATV crowd). I still recommended as in interesting spot with the river and the Hills

Few campsites available with electricity and ablutions. Suitable for tents and motorhomes. Pool, restaurant, kolkol and pub on site.

new camping starting activities. In front of Ponta Grande beach. Very nice! Seu Santinho is very polite and helpful.

I didn’t know where to sleep in Lubec since the one spot there is closed so I just came here, no problems. Really quiet

Nice place, but no privacy. Good maintenance, hot shower.

A gravel lot across from Parkside Pizza and the yosemite view lodge. It's only about 20 minutes to yosemite Valley with most of the park attractions from here. if you need a safe space for the night, this is it - the rangers send everyone here that they find camping in the park in spots that are not permitted. Cell service is not great, but not far to get decent coverage.

the gravel pull off is on the left approaching Yosemite or on your right if leaving. the GPS coordinates are marking the spot one wrong side of the street.

Interesting social project, very well organized, boarding school for 40 boys. They offer rooms and safe parking in the middle of the buildings near the pool and restaurant. Electricity from water turbine, two washing machines, very friendly people, they offer their own great honey and coffee to buy. Rooms with breakfast or full board possible. Between six and seven am you hear the boys and a little sirene, otherwise very quiet.
20 Sol per Camper (2), 5 for extra pax.
Rooms from 70 Sol. High rigs like us must cross little river. May be impossible after rain...

Private place. MTC signal. Stayed one night. Only fisherman. Sound of the ocean. Best part… free :)

We did a 3 days trip in Sud Lipez and booked a private tour with another couple. It was amazing and because of Corona still very few people, so we were mostly all alone in the different spots. as it was private tour and 3 days instead of 2 days in Lipez we were less stressed to visit the spots that was great. Recommendable agency! All perfectlynorganized a very good meals!

beautiful spot with great views and walking paths but omg please pick up after yourselves!!! I just picked up a whole trash bag full of garbage from just the parking lot area!

It's a lovely area, but $10usd per person per night is a bit steep for dry camping. I think a lot more overlanders would stay here if the price would reflect the amenities a bit more. Anyway, the shower is great, the owner is nice, the dogs are big but very cuddly and chase off the coyotes. We stayed two nights and explored some wineries.

Public bathroom appears to be open 24 hrs

Great place. We stayed 6 days (mainly to spend those cheap pesos before we cross back to Uruguay. Exceptionally clean bathrooms but be sure to turn on the COLD water first for showers and then adjust accordingly. The hot water is burning hot. 1650 pesos per day for two people with a motorhome. Lots of good places to walk in many directions. Good shopping. Right on the river. Wifi only available near office. Efficiently run and secure. Good parking for big rigs (special gate entrance). Relatively flat.

Reastaurant and overnight accommodation are on the same premisses.

Dump is $10 but if you fill up w/ $25 or more in gas, free. Easy on/off, dump spot is next to car wash.

Short little sidestreet. There is a trail here, but it's unmarked and doesn't appear on any maps, so not a lot of traffic. Stayed here one night, no problems.

Large pet area, it's not fully enclosed, but also away from parking so you could probably let your dog go off-leash.

nice place to have a picnic or sleep. there is also very good 3G from Entel
