I would only come here if you're traveling through to go somewhere else. it's kind of like Walmart desperation. you're right on the road and the neighbors have dogs that just won't shut up all night. you can't swim in the lake because it's surrounded by cows that crap in the lake or near the water. the campsites you got to be careful because there's a lot of pack rat nests I've noticed where the concrete slabs are so it'd be nuts to Camp over by one of those are you going to have a pack right in your engine or somewhere in your rig. the town itself is actually quite interesting because it's an area that seems to be up and coming and ready for development with pretty striking views looking West towards snowflake.

Great place - Oscar and his family are super nice and friendly. Very chill and pretty beach. Prices as previously stated, bathrooms are ready and clean including shower and flush toilets with toilet paper. Great seafood as well - the chipotle shrimp is sooo good! Definitely recommend stopping in here.

We called them before we went there, so everything had been cleaned. Stayed on "Elly" which is really spacious. Shower really good, nice seating area with fire place and good view. Ablution and the CS itself is up some stairs. Our camp attendant made the fire and cleaned the site. Even though this was all nice we didn't feel really welcomed. Staff was not trying to make us feel like a valued guest, they were not attentive at all, except for our camp attendent. The rest just didn't care...when we entered the restaurant they didn't even bother to ask if we liked something to drink or if we were interested in any activity. No effort at all even though there were only 7 other guests there all together.
On Saturday we felt like at the Love Parade - two boats cruising up and down, drinking and listening to loud music. On Sunday, luckily, it was really quiet.
25 $ are quite steep and how difficult is it to put a solar lamp or oil lamp at least in the ablution area?
We experienced more hospitality at other places and were quite disappointed about staff at Mvuu Lodge.

Most oddly we were stopped, asked details of "where from, where to" etc, nothing about animal products, and that was it. AND this was heading South!

I didn’t stay the night, but I asked if I could use the free shower and, maybe I just got lucky, but the gentleman at the front desk allowed me to do so. Nice to be clean! I would definitely come back to stay.

Actually the parking area is limited to a max stay of 4 hours; you have to use a parking disc. Nevertheless we stood there for 3 continuous days without having any trouble or getting a ticket.
Great sunsets in the evening, excellent views over the sea, quiet and close to the city centre … perfect!

Clean campground, friendly stuff, many dogs around, 300p.P. and 400 for the camper, hot showers (after 9a.m. and after 6p.m.) , we asked and could use free&fast WiFi at the "punto digital" which is located near the playground.

Reasonable rates for large and private spaces, 35$ per night. Warm showers, drinking water at several separate water taps around the park. There are beautiful trails around and the beach is very close as well. Buy firewood at the general store at the top of the road instead of buying it from the park operator - our firewood was wet and annoying to get burning, and we heard the same from many other campers. The wood from the general store was perfectly dry.

Nice spot off of main streets. Some people are living here in vehicles but self contained, no issues. Safe place and fun locals. Quiet and close to everything. Take a walk after sunset, this is a magical town.

If you see stairs, take them. They will lead to art in yards, great views, narrow streets, and tiny shacks listed at $500,000. Yes, looks cheap but pricey. Darn, rich Californians.

Nice spot to overnight on Rt24. I believe the lot is primarily for overnight backpacker cars. Very weak ATT and TMobile signal.

Numerous sites on the north side of the dirt road. Most have fire rings. Easy access to the Temple Mine OHV trail. Beautiful canyon walls on both sides. Right next to the roadway, so expect traffic during the day and dust. Vault toilets just down the road if you have an aversion to pooping in holes.

We could get in with our big truck (3,5m high). But you need a special tool to get in: the broom of the guardes to push up the electric cable. We payed 150BOL for nearly 4 days (now 40BOL / 24hrs). Flights depart from 6am to 22pm.

We stayed 4 nights here, very nice Campground, but you have to be lucky to get one of the 6 rv spot with table and BBQ.. Very busy place, with lot of generators! Rule say they have to be off from 10pm to 7am! You can stay max 5 days. Very clean toilets. Good t-mobile service.

Tried to cross via bicycle. Turkish customs let me through, but I was stopped and turned around before entering Greece. They told me it was illegal to enter via bicycle and suggested I take a taxi.

Just a really lovely place where we could pitch our tent under shading trees. Real positive and layed back vibe. Short Walk in the Center and directly at the (mostly empty) beach. Facilities super clean. The fridge and kitchen has been real plus! Thank you Stefano!

The prices are 72'000 COP p.P for the entrance, 5'000 COP p.P for the insurance and 16'000 COP for the car. It's a beautiful Hiking trail, we saw a lot of animals and colorful beaches. There a lot of visitors (locals and tourists), recommend to go early. In and out with breaks took us six hours.
