Really cool place! 4 bath tubs that can all be adjusted and filled using soft balls, or one has an actual plug. Cows freely roaming around and there is a fun pond where frogs and cute little goldfish swim and croak. I was alone here and it was so quiet. Check out the images for the google maps route!

close to amenities. I used the Taco Bell washrooms in the morning. had a great sleep. nice to wake up to the surfers

Very professional - they checked how much gas we have left in our CADAC bottle and filled it afterwards. One of the workers payed for us and we gave him the amount in cash, as we do not have MobileMoney. 1kg was 1480 Francs👍🏻

This is an informal place with no designated sites, no picnic tables, and no fire rings. It's basically just wide open flat land in the forest. This Forest Service campground is on maps and on the Deschutes National Forest website, but it doesn't have the appearance of a campground. There is no sign and there are no toilets here. Heads-up that this is in an OHV area so don't expect peace and quiet here.

great spot, definitely consider staying here if you need to stop overnight in this area.

Keine Dump Station zu sehen. Im Husky Market sagen sie man muss vorher tanken und die Dump Station kostet 5,25 CND. Aber wo genau sie ist, kann keiner sagen. Wir sind weitergefahren.

Stellplatz mit unbeschreiblicher Aussicht auf die Wapta Falls und die Berge im Hintergrund.
2 Stellplätze für größere Camper. Picknicktisch (nicht mehr der neueste) und Feuerring am Platz, sogar Feuerholz. Pit Toilet ist sauber und gepflegt, mitten im Wald gegenüber den Stellplätzen.
Achtung Gravel Road und kleine Brücken sind nichts für riesige Camper! Wir waren mit einem Truck Camper (4x4) unterwegs. Das ging einigermaßen gut.

That's an awesome spot for a night. Very quiet, beautiful view, enough space for two vans.

Conventional Camping Municipal, a bit of run down. No toilets, no showers, no services.
Lots of space and tranquility and birds and greenery and freedom and no one else around. So what?

We stayed here for one night, together with another car. A lot of place, no problem at all. Beautiful view on the Yukon. Some of the mentioned houses are really old and rotten. Fun to explore. But two buildings look if there are still or again (?!) in use. Probably locals, so please respect their work.

Pour y accéder : se garer sur un petit parking en terre sur la droite : l'espace est juste de l'autre côté de la route. Nous avons dormis en tente un jeudi soir. Nous avons choisi de nous installer plus en contre-bas, près du lac : le terrain n'est pas plat ! Mais ça été pour une nuit. Des Mexicains ont mis la musique assez forte sur la rive d'en face mais ils ont coupés assez tôt (22h30 environ).

To get there: park on a small dirt parking lot on the right: the space is just across the road. We slept in a tent on a Thursday night. We chose to set up further down, near the lake : the ground is not flat ! But it was fine for one night. Some Mexicans played loud music on the opposite shore, but they cut it off early enough (10:30 pm or so).

Para llegar: aparcar en un pequeño aparcamiento de tierra a la derecha: el espacio está justo al otro lado de la carretera. Dormimos en una tienda de campaña un jueves por la noche. Elegimos instalarnos más abajo, cerca del lago: ¡el terreno no es plano! Pero estaba bien para una noche. Unos mexicanos habían puesto la música bastante alta en la orilla de enfrente, pero la cortaron bastante pronto (a las 22:30 o así).

we stayed 5 nights here and loved it. superb location right on a long, white sand beach with safe and easy swimming. fantastic ablutions with powerful hot showers, grassy pitches and a clean, well maintained swimming pool. it should be noted that we were the only campers for 2 nights and just 1 other overlanding truck for the other 3 nights so we felt very spoilt but I still think this would be a fabulous campsite even I'd it is busier.

We stayed here for two nights and because both „regular“ campsites were booked for the first night, we had a look at the „rustic campsite“. What can I say? A dreamy place. We were so in love that we stayed both nights there. Shady area, big braai place, bucket shower and a (different) donkey system for hot water. Modern toilet system that is not for everybody. Wide open spaces in front of you and a small hill in your bag. The only thing you hear are the birds. We payed 180 NAD pppn. If you love to be lonely in a spectacular surrounding, this is campsite is yours.

Muy buen lugar para dormir. Varios campos con mesa picnic y parrilla BBQ al lado del lago. Además mucho espacio para cualquier tipo de RV. Sanitarios limpios. Área de juegos para niños. Todo gratis.

Very good place to overnight. Several spots with picnic table and BBQ grill next to the lake. Also, a lot of space for any type of RV. Clean washrooms. Game area for children. All free.

Very nice dump! Everything looks so clean and new. One of the nicest dumps I've been to!

It's a restaurant at the right side of the highway on the way south to the border with Ecuador.
We asked Dejanire, the manager if we could park and sleep at the big parking lot. She said we were welcome and even offered the bathroom and shower. Big restaurant with good and tasty food.
There is a river were you can refresh yourself.
Nice and grassy place. The highway stays quite silent at night.

water spigot on car side often locked. definitely works when unlocked. haven't tried truck side.

Fairly flat. Room for at least two RVs.

state park, no hook ups, no nothing. nice bike trails but the visitor center is managed ( or should I say abanbonned) by volunteers. The showers not so clean. 2 🌟 for the infrastructure, 4 🌟 for the trails.

Love this place finished about 2 years ago mostly for OHV use but a free gas nice parking and a bathroom. Just do it
