Spot is off the highway, but real close. Lots of road noise. Lots (and lots) of mosquitoes. Pull off from road is a bit steep and slanted. Doable in our large truck camper, but not recommended for anything larger. There is a large spot just inside the trees, and another a bit farther in with view of small lake. Pretty tight and grown over. Stayed one night. No Verizon signal. This spot is more private, but honestly, next time I'd stay just down the road at the old highway pull off.

Bumpy road if you continue further up to various pullouts, but doable with 4WD

Thanks Kevin for hospitaliy and good Information about other nice places in nicaragua. Your place is very clean, banos not more than basic. Hot water for showers but no need in this clima! Place is very safe and in the middle of Granada.

Great place to stay, lots of space and really quiet in the Forest. We use Google Fi as our network and we have two bars. We would definitely stay again.

Decent size parking lot near the water and the walking and bicycle path. Very quiet at night. We spent the day exploring the area from here with our bicycles and stayed for the night. There is a restaurant a few steps away with public washrooms

Great place to stay for a night. Right besides the French trail . No worries, very quiet. Picnic table.

Stayed on the east edge of the parking lot - clean, safe, well lit, a bit of traffic noise and the usual frog symphony orchestra, other than that we had a quiet night. And a visit by a very inquisitive poultry in the morning :-)

This is a hotel and an “RV parking” lot. We came for the lot, but ended up staying 2 nights in the hotel. They let us plug in the van to recharge though. The rooms are nice, comfy beds, buffet breakfast and they serve food all day, pool, gym, and we got massages (800 pesos 50min). The room was 1300pesos and more than sufficient. Very nice staff. Went on a tour of the mine, and city…400pesos but slow. We would have rathered exploring ourselves. Nice views from the tram, but you can see the city in one day. There is A LOT of traffic noise here at the hotel, and with all the engine braking of the big rigs, I think camping in the parking lot would have been really hard. But, they do let you use the bathrooms, showers, pool, gym, etc for 550 pesos per night. And it is very safe, with cameras, and it is all gated.

Great place to boondock. Had a game warden stop by. He was friendly and gave me the proper paper work to camp in the forest.

Very good laundry place, has restroom, water refill, and a cafe! Super clean and technology friendly.

Fantastic place, as all the previous comments say. Unfortunately the owner Mica has sold the place and the new owners will not be continuing with the hostel. I am the last guest. Glad I got to enjoy it while it was still here. All the best to Mica!

Rare to find a restaurant with these options (burgers, pizza, & more) in a small village like this one, especially along this highway, and done as well as they are. The chef/owner worked in restaurants in Cancun before coming back to his hometown to open the place. Hours are 6-10pm (dinner only) everyday except Fridays. Definitely worth the stop if passing by here. Prices are very good and the ambience is nice. Their fresh fruit waters are great. The BBQ crunch burger is delicious. Best deal for your money is the Pepporoni pizza which is pretty big and only 85 pesos. Beer available at 30 pesos a can.
