We stayed here for 4 nights with no issues.
Toilets at the rear of the store but no water fountain in there.
We visited the Nose Hill Library nearby where they let us fill with water from the spigot outside their entrance.
We also used the showers nearby at the Winston Churchill Aquatic & Recreation Centre where swimming pool, hot tub, showers & all day entry was CAD$8.30

This is the tourist information center. They are really well equipped and can give you lots of advice (and maps) on what to do in almaty and around. They can speak quite good english. They have toilets and space to sit down and relax. Open everyday from 10 am to 8 pm.

Very close to Mototriple if you're needing work done on your bike. Clean comfortable and very nice rooms from 3-500TL. Walking distance to restaurants etc. Metro 10 minutes walk. 6 stops to Kadikoy. Definitely worth staying here if you want a nice place outside the city madness. Bike parking outside Otel or the great guys at Mototriple will let you keep your bike there. Definitely recommended.

It's good for parking and visiting the cathedral, but not appropriate for staying the night. During the night different people with their cars and loud music came along.

This is a rough track to get, only walking, carrying the bike or MTB. There is an abandoned boat, giving some cover from the track and adding some thematics to your overnight. Some people pass jogging or walking, but don't mind.

Please check the floor and use a tarp, the floor has dry and hard plants, and a few of them have thorns. But still possible to camp.

Ferry cost me 6 lev for one person and one motorbike.
However although its meant to run at 2 on this day it didn't depart until 3 and is a fairly slow process load and unload all the trucks.

Park back behind the parking area (to the left of the restaurant) and near Johnson Bay. We ate at the restaurant and asked to park for the night. I was told the restaurant owned the lot. Staying a night was not a problem.

Nice quiet leveled place for an overnight. Good view of the ocean. Lighthouse is modern and not an attraction. Seen some locals to pull up for a u-turn (or just for curiosity) during evening. Room for 3-4 x 24ft RV.

A very basic but cleanish hospedaje. Friendly owner who can also cook dinner and breakfast. Small shop nearby. Located next to the school. We could take our bicycles in to the room. Motorbikes can park in the yard and cars behind the building. We paid 15 soles for one bed, which we shared.

Felt very safe (more even than the grassy area bit further). Calm street, not level but ok. We slept opposite the bar next to Amore Mio which has very nice special cocktails and during the day Wifi without password that reached our boondocking spot as well

Parking lot next to mountain biking trails and ponds. Is decently secluded but there were people around until 10:30pm and in the morning people started showing up at about 6:30am. Nobody bothered us so it was a fine place to sleep for the night in our van.

we came here with high expectations but didnt stay at the end because showers and toilet are under construction, dont have doors so absolutely no privacy. also the parking lot where we would have been supposed to camp was full of garbage,so not very nice. kitchen was dirty also. maybe we came in a wrong moment.
still 20bob pp.
we decided to wildcamp close to the cemetery.

Standard campground with bathrooms and fairly level spots. It’s surrounded by trees, but you can hear the highway from some sites, so keep that in mind if that annoys you. It’s also free with a Discovery Pass!

There is now a sign saying how much it costs to park. The road till here is hard. I would not park here to spend the night though. Great place to enjoy walking and watching the panorama.
