Definitely worth the visit. Was given a discount for being a crazy cyclist 😁

Just opposite and before Big meadows campground. It's a large gravel carpark with room for 20+ cars.
Probably not technically above board but be discreet, leave no trace and you should be fine.

Red pump right next to toilet block.
Head down into the big meadows campground and it's about half way down the track on the left.

Should add, that there's actually no signs saying no camping around the carpark.

Just a random spot just off the road. Lots of low hanging trees to get here. Decent for a night.

Quiet parking lot on the harbour, large enough for several rigs. There were 6 of us there. New walking path has just been built so lots of walkers in the morning. Beautiful container restaurant in the park with great food.

Nice spot. Flat and wooded. Some energy and water points. Safe in a very calm city. River access. Excellent mobile signal

We called to be sure the water was potable. The clerk said they wouldn't use it as the hose had been attached for years and may be contaminated. We had our own hose, but was still discouraged from getting any when we offered to use ours. We chose to go elsewhere.

Echos of what others have said, very easy paved road to the campsite, very beautiful with river access, free roaming cows, and rattlers…if you have a dog, do be careful. We only saw a dead one on the street, but we’re very vigilant after speaking with some locals.
The FLIES. Y’all, these biting flies do not quit. They will not take no for an answer. They want to talk about your car’s extended warranty and they will crawl through the rooftop AC to do it. The mosquitoes are bad at usual times and occasionally swarm.
Some big winds helped as the night went on, but the morning was for feasting.
No shade (both literally and metaphorically), and the nights were very cool.

Obeyed Picnic tables, benches, very nice clean modern washrooms. Access to a stony beach. And a sign that says no parking from 22 h - 6 h. So I moved down the gravel road a bit passed a barrier and settle myself there for the night

Pulled in 10:00 p.m. and went about a quarter mile where there is a large flap graveled pull out area. drove around the corner and there is an established fishing camp on the river with signage from the government. Very quiet. Heard one person leave in the morning.

This place is actually very nice as turnpike rest areas go. It has a lot of truckstop amenities like showers and laundry facilities. Kudos to Ohio for such a nice facility.

Slept somewhat next to the police station, went to eat next to the road, local confirmed it is safe. Not idyllic, but safe.

Great spot for watching sunset and spending the night. Arrived at sunset on a Friday and there was plenty of space. The road noise from the highway is soft and consistent. Truckers pulling in around 5am woke us up and left engines running but overall a really awesome find!

Nice free campsite with a clean pit toilet. Very hot here though in this time of the year. Also lots of wasps. Would be better to camp higher up.

Paved road goes back off the main road a couple hundred yards through dense trees and bushes. There is room to snug in several vans/campers on fairly flat pavement, or possibly a couple of bigger rigs could fit. The sound of a nearby, rushing creek permeates the area. Access to the the creek is difficult though, unless you go a short distance down the main road to the dirt pullout. I splashed off there. There's a National Monument fee area/parking lot/trailhead about a half mile away at the end of the road that has toilets.

It’s alright. Felt weird tbh as it’s residential and there are houses across the street. Did not get bothered, but wouldn’t stay there again.
If you are looking for a more private spot with toilets/shower, check the South Surrey Arena parking lot about 15 minutes from Crescent Beach.
