Very nice farm and campsite. Campsite are large, ablutions really clean and very good hot shower. You can buy meat directly at the butchery, cheap and really good pièces of beef, pork, biltong. They also have a nice little grocery where you Can find marmelade, milk, yoghourt....good prices. You Can hear the main road but was OK. Wifi free and average signalat reception and restaurant.

We passed in two moments here (we have a 4x4). At first there was snow and it was quiet and now. Apparently they had passed the machine. We were told that the biggest problem is when it rains. If in doubt, go to the information center or police in Tres Lagos or Gobernador Gregores to find out the situation.

Passamos em dois momentos aqui (temos um 4x4). Na primeira tinha neve e foi tranquilo e agora. Aparentemente haviam passado a máquina. Nos informaram que o maior problema é quando chove. Na dúvida, passar no centro de informações ou polícia de Tres Lagos ou Gobernador Gregores para saber a situação.

We spent two nights here. Friendly staff, convenience store from 7am to 10pm and not open on Sundays, with good fast foods. Bathroom clean and heated 24 hours, good wi-fi (does not work in the parking lot). The bath we pay $100 P.A. per person and as the bathroom is a truck stop, let's say that hygiene is questionable, however, the shower is very hot. For those who want to enjoy it, we recommend the parrilha at the front ;)

Passamos duas noites aqui. Funcionários simpáticos, loja de conveniência das 7-22hrs e não abre aos domingos, com boas comidas rápidas. Banheiro limpo e aquecido 24 horas, wi-fi bom (não funciona no estacionamento). O banho pagamos $100 P.A. por pessoa e como o banheiro é parada de caminhões, digamos que a higiene é duvidosa, porém, ducha bem quente. Para quem quiser aproveitar, recomendamos a parrilha que fica na frente ;)

best place to spend the night. safe, quiet and with very welcoming people willing to help. wifi, water, restrooms and electricity available.

We stayed one night with no problem. There were numerous overnighters there with us. It was a little noisy with passing traffic, but got quieter through the evening.
Good Verizon signal.

Very nice Campground very well maintained near a river but also close to the mainroad. You should ask for places away from the road. it's marvelous.

J’ai adoré mes deux nuits ici. J’ai une petite van et ce sont les meilleurs emplacements. Terrain no 53 immense terrain à côté du wifi. Belle marche à proximité. Ranger super gentil. Dimanche soir je me sens seule au monde.

Several spots before the Rock Candy trailhead parking. Well off the road, in some trees. Place was full of garbage which we cleaned up and hauled away. Please keep our iOverlander spots clean, so they remain available to use.

Beach and campsite at a lake. During sumertime season operates as on official beach with reastaurant.

Very nice place and super friendly owner. Pedro is giving all the best to make your stay lovely. Paid 6000 colones per person. Simple and clean facilities. All palapas have electricity. The best is the river which you get for free! Beautiful clean blue water! In the morning you can see Tucans too!

Stayed here for the night before we visited Great Sand Dunes! Super convenient.

There were about 4 cars/rvs here in the large dirt pull off overnight.

Just as described! Close to the highway, noisy train but beautiful sunset and plenty of space!

Acesso bom até a rampa, todo de asfalto. a rampa fica no alto da cidade, com uma boa subida e algumas curvas mas só ir devagar que chega numa boa. Sem acesso a água ou energia. Sinal da vivo pega bem.

Big rocky aera close to the RN9 from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate. Must have been a place to store machines during the road construction (?).
Clean, quiet, no litter, lost in the middle of the mountain yet 2mins drive from the RN9.
Little rocky hill to climb, we used the 4x4. (Not sure you’ll get there without it)

Camped for 2 nights for N$500 per night on site #1 which has a great view of the nearby channel. No game sighted but hippo, lion and hyena heard at night. The caretaker is named Starlight and is most helpful and friendly. He helped to arrange a game drive and boat cruise for us run by nearby Nkasa Lupala Lodge. The boat cruise is highly recommended. We paid N$1250 pp for the combined game drive/boat cruise and they will collect you from the campsite and return you afterwards which is included in the price. Take note that for those with big vehicles there is a 12 tonne weight limit on the two river bridges that one crosses to access the campsite and the bridges are quite narrow!

*National Fperfectly. Wouldn't suggest high or long cars/RV because hanging trees and not enough space to turn around. We just spend one night in peaceful silence, without any disturbings but we saw other people at the main forest road who seems to stay longer without being bothered. Highly recommend fairy tunnel! Loved it. orest* Quiet little road along the forest road. We drove in with a minivan and it worked

This wonderful place is as described in the previous reviews: a peaceful and beautiful farm with friendly animals (dogs, cats, horses, chicken and a pig called Milanesa), with many amenities to help have great time (swimming pool, communal area, parrillas). The heart of La Chacra are their hosts Jan and Marieke, this lovely couple made us feel at home while being there, and we will for sure come back when we are again in Uruguay.

We stopped here for a quick overnight that turned into half of the next day. They have free fast WiFi inside the welcome center and a playground for the kids and clean bathrooms were exactly what we needed for the day.

Lugar mais calmo de Guarapari pra dormir
Rua residencial, muito bem iluminada (sem blackout é ruim de dormir) e extremamente silenciosa, não tem nenhum apoio (energia, água)

Perfect spot for a night close to a river. But the highway is noisy!

Exoensive camping but well worth it as you save on park fees and they know it. Booked for 2 nights but stayed for 4. Camp site old 2 abit far from river but close to abolutions with hot water and clean but used by many. Elephants and hippo not toi far at the river. 9 liins went through camp 1 sunset. This area of Moremi is the best for wildlife. Saw many more wildlufe here then in the park.
If you run out of diesel Patrick in Kwai village sells it at pula 25 per litre (normal price 16.85!!!)but thats life

I have stayed at roughly 50 different Walmarts in the US & CAN over the years and this is probably the most van / rv friendly environment I have experienced. Tons of campers parked overnight.
