Attempted to check in, but they said our vehicles "weren't up to code". We have Vintage vehicles sure, but they're pretty immaculate. First place we've been turned away from, so I was very surprised.

5000 CFA. Okay for one night. Running water for the shower but not for the toilet. No restaurant around.

Nigeria to Cameron. Nice officer. Need a Passeport copy if you have or he will write all the informations on a paper. No entry or exit stamp on the Passeport since covid... We explain to him that it's always something needed at the exit and above all nothing prove the day of our entry in Cameroon... He said no worries everyone is aware.

We asked to the customs at the end of the road and they wasn't aware about that... They send us the the "commissariat spécial" of Banyo to see with them. Wasn't the first time and they where a bit upset with the boss because of it. He said that we have to go to Yaoundé to the Police des frontières to have the stamp. We said that we are not going in Yaounde normally, he said that we do not have other options to be in order for the exit to Gabon...

We cross at the end of the reany season. Easy crossing maybe 30 cm of water. Concrete at the bottom of the river. After the bridge when you arrived from Nigeria it's much more difficult... The road is hell due to the big truck passing by. Good luck with the rest of the road...

They checked our Passeport and CPD, took all the informations and that it. No stamp or other thing here. Very nice officers.

wonderful campsite with Kirchen, electricity, privat bathroom with hot shower, viewdeck overlooking the okavango. Restaurant and Bar directly at the Popa Falls. New Swimmingpool.
Excellent breakfast, snacks for lunch in Order three course dinner. Very helpfull, friendly and hospitally einer, who knows everything about the suroundings. Again highly recommended!

very clean toilets, community room with hot water, bbq places and a stove. we payed 1500 for 2 person's and a small camper on the truck.

Have been here to ask for some informations. People very friendly. Not a lot of tourists coming here so excursions quite expensive but seem good

Very nice campsite with all you need. Free wi-fi. Staff is lovely. Quiet and clean and we met others overlanders.

Currently closed until further notice due to heavy flood damage.

towards Lake Tranquillo a few km from the city, small place by the road and river, quiet, accessible to all and network still present

Quite large parking, half paved half gravel, belonging to a church, closed to a very big baseball field where there is also other large large parking places.

Ficamos 2 dias aqui. Ótimo local, com excelente infraestrutura e tem 4 piscinas aquecidas. Valor 2900,00 a diária 2 pessoas e motorhome.

Road was still washed out heading towards the beach, smaller 2wd would make it easily but it was too narrow for an RV.

Road is a little rough but no problem for 2wd. We just drove up to look around.

Great place along the beach. There are several sections to stop, so you are a bit (not completely) secluded. Nice view, quiet at night. And perfect for whale watching, at the right time of the year, of course.

can't get much better than this! we stayed here for a night and then went exploring past the cattle guard and found similar but more secluded spots.

Pahrump has tons of BLM land right outside of town. I ended up staying in town for about a week and spent most of the time in this area. Quiet, so much room to spread out, and plenty of other ppl around if you prefer to have neighbors. Cool view at sunset looking over the town.

I stayed here two days and had a relatively good time. First night was very quiet and I was thankful to be near the beach and nice little stretch of grass. The second night I got woken up on Monday morning at 5 am by the loudest fitness group I have ever encountered lol, so be aware of that.

we found a lot of flies next to the river. so we choose another spot, which was perfect. coming from the main road, take the first gravel road, on the left. coming from the spot, turn right drive 200m and take the gravel on the right.

pictural are not so impressive but worth the climb for the view

Lots of great spots down this road just look for an open pull off and you'll go in and find a spot amongst the 30' cactus we have pretty good 4G barely have 5G.

We stay here for two nights bevor traveling to Costa Rica with our 7 m mobile home. We enjoyed the rest, the many flowers and the light breeze. Ivania is a great hostess.

very nice modern hotel. Quiet, very good breakfast. Staff speaks very good English and is very responsive. good place if you stop for a night when going south. Safe parking. Last minute price on booking.com was 40 Euro incl breakfast got two people.

Campsite with incredible views. Hot showers. Electricity supplied by ranger if needed.

You’ll need about a 25’ hose to fill. Couldn’t reach with our 15’ hose and come to find out it’s not even turned on. Maybe they turn this off on weekends?

parking public au bord du lac Pontchartrain. Aucune indication concernant le stationnement de nuit. à coté des pistes cyclables et du parc de la ville "Nola city park". Au bord de la route mais le soir le teaffic diminue.

stayed here 3 nights to cure from my diarrhea, friendly people, rooms okay (did not have a window, was quite a fresh/cool room), water very hot

beautiful beach! no-one around to collect fees, place very rundown but the waterfront is just stunning. great for swimming, snorkelling, and SUP when the wind is gone. PLEASE feed the dog Palomo and the cat near the abandoned house!!!

nice camp ground 🏕 good showers, had sheltered area with couch and tables. no wifi. can not cook there. 6.000 pppn for a tent.
