Fantastic place. Yes, the bathrooms could he cleaner and it is cold water showers, but the camp sites are serene and quiet during the weekdays. Lots of shaded areas and full of green. 20 minute walk to the beach, and 30 minute bus ride into the city. Owner is also very nice.

Great simple campground when we visited Cuyahoga N. P. The park no longer allows overnight anywhere within their boundaries so you can't boondock in there. We went to this city park last minute by making a reservation online an hour before arrival. Friendly camp manager and great facilities and only $18.

$700mxn for a hook up spot on the little pier just above the water. Great bathrooms with flush toilets and hot water. Really enjoyed our stay although it was a bit pricey. Staying further down the beach wouldn't have been too bad, but a much further walk to the bathrooms. Wifi at the little tienda next door, good cell signal.

Stopped here on our way to Volcán Isluga to acclimate to the altitude. Ok spot along paved road. Practical for the purpose and nice view over the mountains, but within hearing and viewing distance of all traffic to/from Bolivian border. We were alone, but the space could easily accomodate several verhicles/tents.

Very sweet little spot in a cool town. There was a good Verizon signal. Quiet after dark. You can hear the ocean from the spot. Don't forget to stop at Thor's Well up the mountain on 101.

Incredible spot for bikes or motorcycles. Not visible at all and with a lot of space to put your tent. Beautiful view of the canyon all around and with access to the river.

Great place, directly at the dunes
2 toilets (1 woman, 1 man)
3 showers (warm water)
50DH per person
Good laundry service
There are a lot camping slots, with and without shadow (no shadow at the dunes, but it's ok)
Great Swimmingpool (cold water, but nice)
Clean and friendly

typical parking lot, no issues or knocks. grocery store beside the gym open until 10 pm and open early if you don't have a gym membership. the cats were present, as mentioned above, and a few tents located behind the Hawaiin BBQ spot beside the dumpster. nobody bothered us for 2 nights. Good dog park only a few minutes away

Decent stay for a night. No Verizon signal. Pack it in and pack it out people. Found human waste and TP by the 1 and only tree nearby. No wonder Moab has closed so many of the other camping areas.

We can not recommand this place for cars higher than a person is. It is really very (!) close to residential area and in order to respect their and our own privacy we went somewhere else. If you should go to Fray Bentos near the old factory pay attention to the height of the bridge over the Arroyo Fray Bentos which has only 2.50 m height.

We stayed here for two nights. Asked for 8 USD but negotiated to 6USD per night.
Friendly staff, clean toilets and amazing views. Little fence is closed during the night.
There are two friendly dogs that stay overnight. One of them occasionally comes by and sees if you have a snack for him. :)

This place looks awesome. Unfortunately completely flooded due to rainy season. See picture.
Guy at the entrance desk for the waterfalls was super friendly, you can park at the side of the street if you want to do the hike. Big enough for taller rigs as well.

Stayed for one night and it was very quiet. Called and checked with the store before staying and they said overnight parking is fine here. Parking lot felt very safe and was well lit. Saw a few vans in the parking lot as well. I’d say this is a pretty good spot if you’re looking to explore Joshua Tree!

It is an open parking lot now. They charge 2000 COP on weekends but free on week days. No fence or any barrier at all, just a flat, big area. We spent three days here and felt safe. Restaurants and bathrooms around as well as small convinience stores.

I stayed here during a cross-country motorcycle ride. Oak Street House is an AirBnB but also she rents rooms outside of that. There are two rooms in the very comfortable house, but the host is why I wanted to add it here. Anjillee is a caring and warm person who has a deep interest in all travelers. She has many stories to share, and is interested in yours. It makes a great spot for a slightly upscale spot on a long journey.
