propane available fill or swap tanks. clean 🚻 and showers. also have Burger King and subway for food. if you are headed in to the mountains for primitive camping this is close by and a good place to grab a shower before a long ride home

Very well equipped campsite with braai area, power and a private kitchen and fridge/freezer and lovely verandas with view over the river. Clean ablutions with hot showers.
Deon also offers fishing tours and has all the necessary gear if you would like to go fishing.
We enjoyed our two nights a lot, especially the sunset cruise on the river

Large truck stop. Ample parking for rigs of all sizes. Free water at diesel pumps.

I never pay to camp. this seems very much worth it to me. $30/night with full hookups that I don't really need, but it was all I could get last minute. free showers, free eggs, and free laundry. Cool funky little place.

Camping at Umshanti was enjoyable. Love the setting. Ablutions was a disappointment, definitely needs a serious upgrade.

Open grassland with ponderosas. Many RVs here in November. Picnic tables at sites. No ATT service.

very nice the view from my spot is beautiful... 15 per night it has bathrooms and showers and clean safe drinking water... no electric hook up ware I am but the park has spots with electric hook up for additional costs...

BLM land. Google maps at first took us to a dead end road several miles away, so make sure to head towards Ft. Bowie. You should pass through miles of a pecan orchard on the way. Several sites along a gravel, sandy, and stony road. Pit privies. 2 bars ATT and LTE. Excellent views looking northeast.

Now, this place is turned into a real established campsite. They advertise camping.

Quiet spot just off the 63, about 10 miles after the Pecos National historical park. Good for one night, no facilities, clean and near the creek. 39F at 4pm today. Fire pit but not really any wood around

There is a height restriction now, big yellow bar above entry. Attendant said parking is not for vans or trucks.

Cell signal spotty but free place for the night with indoor plumbing and drinking water fountains. Pretty view along the highway but I looped around to the other side of the building to block road noise. Shaded picnic tables. Pretty busy as this is one of the only rest areas for a very long while but overall not bad for the night. Well lit and feels safe.

Security asked us to leave around 10pm saying this is a private property. He recommended Home Depot
