expedition-one-planet.fr | We went here to wild camp. After sunset, people in the dark came with automatic guns, pretending they were policemen (which seems to be true but they had no uniform and no police card).
Anyhow, do NOT recommend to stay overnight around this village. |

crisalmeida1507 | Excelente lugar pra passar o dia e pernoitar. |

Wyld Eagle Adventures | expensive parks, and difficult to do a loop from Arusha/Moshi without crossing Ngorongoro twice, so plan accordingly. Terrible road with many washboard stretches and dangerously speeding safari Landcruisers. Make sure to not be one minute late if you don't want to risk paying another day, even more so since the location of the gate is at the bent in the road at Naabi Hills, a few miles NW of where the location on iOverlander was. With the construction going on and running around to find the correct gate, I signed out with 2 min to spare. correct location is at -2.832170, 34.997650. Once you get there, you can relax, eat, visit bathrooms or walk up to the viewpoint before paying the next park to extend the time to leave (24 or 48h after you finalize the transaction). |

kimpossible82 | I’m a tiny bit further down the Road than the other spot listed here. This pullout here is way bigger and would fit a couple of Vans.

msquick1 | The parking area by the dog park, to the back side of the building. there are no parking restriction signs. however, San Diego (county/city both) has ordinances against habitating in vehicles. parking overnight (10p-7a) is not allowed at parks, and though this is next to a park, I'm not sure if it's formally part of the park. there's a restroom facility on park ground, the signage says doors lock automatically at 10p. |

gatogoesglobal.com | This road section is mostly gravel. At the time we passed, a landslide took away part of the track, leaving a very steep and uneven section. It was possible to pass with our 4X4. For the rest of the road first gear will do with 4x2 if you have sufficient ground clearance. Maybe try to find actual info in either village before driving. |

bethany.rose1615 | This is a beautiful, tranquil (and cold) spot next to the water and near the road going to the cave paintings. If you get a permit in Laraos (the entrance point about 45 minutes beforehand) you can fish trout from the lake. We saw LOTS of different types of local birds. We asked permission to camp here at a nearby house, and I suggest you do the same. You pay 5 soles to enter the town of Laraos, but it’s totally worth it. Everything is wonderfully signposted, you get a brochure of the touristic attractions and a map, and there’s free wifi in the plaza. |

luacheiak05 | Very simple accomodations at Pousada Familiar, in Perequê. Near everything. Ok for just one night and for not too exigent people. Breakfast only coffee, milk, bread, butter, ham and cheese. For me it is pretty acceptable for the price. 60 per person per night on november 2022 |

gan.mix | it's now 80pesos for 24h (negociate 150 for 2 days). gate close between 20.30 to 6.30 and and you have to stay inside your camper.. toilets close also at night and during the day you have to ask for the key. the owner told us it's a really dangerous area.. I don't know if it's really true. |
