Not the most idyllic, but good overnight spot. We had a quiet night in our pop-up roof, thanks to the little hill you barely hear the road. Nobody bothered us.

Stayed here one night while heading north. There was a bunch of traffic leaving the beach as the sunset (which was amazing) and pretty quiet the rest of the night. Lots of garbage though. Felt safe

Stayed here for a week and felt so at home! Efraín and his partner, Chuy are so kind. Efraín makes coffee for guests every morning and we enjoyed hanging out with them and chatting. We had electric and appreciated the warm/hott-ish showers. The hot water runs out when other people use it but it wasn't a big deal for us.

We used the dump at Rice & Beans down the road but preferred to stay here for the hospitality and proximity to town. We also loved that we were able to give Chuy our laundry and she had it ready for us in just a few hours. So convenient. We'll be coming back here for sure!

Beautiful campsites to choose from, most had a table and/or fire ring, though some were too muddy to drive in. The road to get in and through the park is rough. My dog and I had a great time!

CAREFUL: attempted breakin into our rig. Three guys tried to smash our window and damaged the camper at three am (night). They also had and used some kind of handheld gun. Only with the help of a full can of bear spray we were able get rid of them and leave the place. Also this area can get very loud until 6 am in the morning.

A place to relax. You can park right by the lake. There are clean toilets with toilet paper. There are electric sockets at the covered pitches, and those who have filters can fill up their water there for free.

We slept one night in the parking lot, no problem. It has a convenience store with poor WiFi. Clean restrooms, for $50 pesos. It works from 6 am until midnight. Showers for $200 pesos, soooo hot for 10 minutes. We left the car there and went downtown on foot, no problem.

Camped by a chalet where we could use toilet and shower, no basin. Place is very well kept with a lovely garden and bird life. Camping now $15 pppn which we felt a bit pricey. Apparently cheap chalets available too. Convenient for the border.

Great boondocking on BLM land. Solid cell service, great views, hard packed ground and plenty of room to spread out.

Really awesome spot. We stayed here for a few days while we waited out the storms hitting California. There is a Taco bell cantina on the beach that has bathrooms (and alcohol). Also, the parking meters were broken when we were here so as long as they aren't working parking is FREE. Expect alot of wind from the coast. We had a few neighbours with us each night and had no issues. Lot's of surfers!

O lugar parece um lugar paradisíaco. Muito recomendado!

Good campsite with actual flat spots in a nice green area for cars with RTT. 7 USD pppn. Also normal tents for rent available. Toilets basic, hot shower available but did not work when we were there. Community based and many people walk around during the day. They offer a variety of tours done by local people (we did a herbal medicine tour which was nice although a bit overpriced with 40 USD for 90 min). There's a bar and ok restaurant and craftshop. It's a bit of a hippie/young people campsite. In the night it was quiet but as everywhere they start early and indeed the school and mill factory can be noisy during the day. Still recommended for 1 or 2 nights. Not much to do around (although the Dian Fossey museum in Kiniki is highly recommended!)

Une excellente localisation pour les vans. Endroit très calme près d’une rivière.
C’est sur le parking d’un petit resto, les gens sont adorables. Ils nous ont partager leur wifi. Le resto propose les clés de leurs toilettes pour la nuit contre 5$.

Nice pull off, dark. We were there in January and it was still pretty busy (~5 vehicles on each side of road), so I imagine it's packed during the summer. We did get stuck in the snow due to old, un-plowed layers and our shitty tires. Got out easily with traction boards, our fault, not the pull-outs but beware of snow and know your vehicle.

An extremely well run and very tastefully done hostile/campground. You do not need a 4 x 4 to access this place. Also, the people here are very accommodating and very laid-back. They are so generous and so just great folks and I am so glad that I ended up finding this place, even though there was a previous, not so good review. I don’t agree with any of this. I have a Toyota tundra. It’s huge. It’s bigger than any Mercedes camper van or whatever. All I’m saying is you can fit in here no problem.

It’s also very close to the beach. It’s away from the dust, the crowds, and it’s private and quiet.

What a great place and I could only hope that people can read this review… It’s a wonderful stay.

Claudia and her husband are amazing people, we could park our gmc savana behind their gate and could use all facilities (complete bathroom , outdoor and indoor kitchen, wifi). We were searching for a appartment because family came to visit and she offered us their appartment in Bellavista! Beautiful appartment on a great location. Price was 15k a day.
