perfect and safe place for visit town. We also had a tour to the tequila factory casa Sauza (recommended tour of 2 hours and nice tasting drinks). all on walking distance. noisy but you are in the middle of town.

Easy and smooth. Like normal a lot of paperwork, copies for TIP but for the rest no problems. Very friendly. Fill in your check-Mig before online as there is no internet (unless you buy it from the copy lady, $1 for 30 min)
It was on a rainy Sunday I must say….

Paid parking (pay by hour) in central Nashville. Some noise at night but not horrible (As can be expected from a van). Felt relatively safe, cities aren't are go to for camping but we absolutely love this place!

the route described previously will get you to Chile on a much easier road. there isn't a road on ioverlander or on offline Google maps through this location that eventually meets up with the road that goes on the east side of Colorado, but this road is very similar to the lagunas route as far as the awesome scenery (but without the lagunas) and 10 times easier. we took the west route down and it took us at least 13 bone breaking, white knuckle, hours to get from 701 to the geysers. from the geysers back to 701 via this road was a little more than 5. it's the way that the tour guides go back to uyuni and there aren't any side roads so you don't have to worry about taking the right path. the bottom and the top 70km are fast washboard easily capable of cruising at least 60kmh while the section in the middle is more severe washboard but still cruising faster then I ever got on the west route. if you have seen flamingos before then I don't think it's worth taking the other way if you don't want to.

do yourself a favor and air down now. we did the loop with high clearance and never used 4x4. if you are 2wd or low clearance then you need to have a shovel and be prepared to stack rocks for the deep wash outs across the road. otherwise just slow going due to severe washboard. we never got above 30km the whole route. if your concerned about making it, take the route south like 35km east of here. it's just as pretty and much easier!

this is the correct path but some farmers
have tilled up a plot of land that crosses the road. there is a new path from this road that goes around this tiny field and back onto the main track. maybe a 300m diversion.

Best place to camp with such proximity to Punta Arenas. We've been in the area for 2 weeks and stayed many spots - we regret to have only tried this one on our way out of town because it is by far the nicest.
Paved roads to access, private, wind shelter, nice view, great firepit and outhouse and picnic table infrastructure. Not that much garbage that we saw. Highly recommend.

We were travelling by bicycle and went first to the official camping but the price they were asking encourage us to find another place ;-). We saw two vans here and some locals arrived also a bit later to camp on site. Besides being free, this place was quiet and nice. We got some water in front of the police station and everything went well !

Decent size lot but not huge. Several men were drag racing until about 1 am, playing loud music as well. Quiet the rest of the time. Several other RV’s. No issues.

Nice woodsy campground. Full hookups available, but we paid $21 for a tent site. Reservations available but not on same day. We were there during off season, so there were lots of open spaces. We were able to pay at the pay station after closing with a credit card. Very close to the beach!

Buen Camping, los baños muy limpios cerca del mar, lo unico malo es que no hay wifi y tampoco llega la señal. Hay cabañas con pileta y wifi atras pero el wifi es exclusivo para las cabañas
