Traveling on my bicycle, I arrived in Tunkas looking for a place to put the tent and when I asked here at the Municipal Palace, the officials offered me to put my tent on the stage at the back of the Municipal Palace, which helped me pass one night here in Tunkas

nice nature, but there where people coming to us four times asking randomly and rude for money. no reason for that, just because they wanted money… and some kids that wanted food. but kids were friendly they even „payed“ with claystars. quiet cute. but the men were suspicious. would not recommend to stay for the night. but great to see the vulcano.

glacier museum, glaciarum. here you will learn how a glacier is formed, the different types of glaciers and will have the opportunity to see a film about the perito moreno and its ice bridge. there is also a frozen bar. entirely made of ice, you pay the entry for the bar and you have a warm suit and gloves for about 20 minutes in the bar where you can consume what you want during this time. for 2 adults and 3 children we had it for 40€. under 12 it's half price. 3500 pesos per adult for the museum. if you take the museum and frozen bar combo it’s 5500 pesos.

Here is a FREE camp spot with electricity, potable water, a dump station, free garbages, and wifi next to the bus station. There are no bathrooms, but the bus station is open from 07:00-22:00 with bathrooms inside. No showers. Full 4g LTE Claro signal (speed is more like 2g all through El Chaltén).

12,000/person. We stayed here as it was very close to downtown Pucon. Walking distance to sight seeing at Villarica Lake. Lots of dogs from the nearby houses (so we used earplugs while sleeping!)

We enjoyed the little view of the tiny freshwater spring by our campsite.

Bathrooms were okay. Some shower stalls were out order.

People working there were nice friendly.

We only stayed there for one night.

This town is really neat with a lot of older buildings not used anymore. Makes for cool photographing, I’d reccomend planning a bit of extra time to stop and see along the 80, uploaded a pic of a cool abandoned gas station😍

Stayed a second time here driving back west. Noticed a small temp sign at the entry of the lot that said 'no parking after 330am'. Hoping it's not going to become an official permanent sign :(

This is the second time we've come to this hospedaje and of all the places we've been, it has to be our favorite, and that's saying something! The accommodations are good and clean, but not spectacular, the price, at 13,000 pesos per bed, was quite good, but not the cheapest; however, it's the owner and the energy of the house that makes it exceptional. We loved every minute of our time here and highly, highly recommend a stay if you have the opportunity!!

Really nice place to stay while visiting Cordoba. We stayed there 2 nights and 2 days. Very safe as the police station is very close and there are police patrols all day and night long. A bit noisy as you are very close to the road but still ok. Maybe not suitable for very big rigs as the parking lot is not lots of space. Also come at the end of the day if you want to be sure to find a spot as, in the day, people going to the park behind are parked there.

Epic spot!! The guy running it is the biggest legend, kept bringing us snacks. Let’s you use his kitchen and sometimes offers fruit, veg, tea coffee and pastries. Great bohemian vibe. Close to river and town.

We stayed here on a Saturday night in our sprinter and were pleasantly surprised about the quietness despite the amounts of semis we were mixed in between. I called ahead and the casino said no check-in was necessary.

We parked here for free (bit challenging to level).
The woman managing the "albergue" and access to the Sotano said it was fine to park by the soccer field.
We mentioned that we had a lot of hiking experience and a map of the route downloaded (all trails), and would love to try the hike on our own. We were charged 100$ per person for access, no guide (we speak Spanish, and do not know if she had a good day or this would work for someone else in the future though). And also could use the restroom/shower of the Albergue.
The hike was beautiful! just consider that the drive to get here is quite challenging.
attached list of general prices anyway

Great spot, isolated. Road isn’t as bad as described but 4x4 still necessary. Rebuilt the fire pit. Awesome views of the lake at sunset. Only negative is the Motorcycles in the canyon late at night echoing.

You can negotiate down to 100 if you stay a few days. Hot water. Air conditioning that work as heather too. If was freezing cold when I got here and sick so that was a nice bonus. Wifi decent. I think they have a swimming pool but too cold in winter to check it out.

This was such a beautiful spot. Bumby paved road to get there and we had to trim a tree on the road to allow us to get far enough over to let a car pass. We took a great 9 mile walk using trail info from Mapsme then we also ran the road through the villages. Friendly locals, we felt welcome. Two different people asked if we wanted to buy land there! There are a couple of tiendas but we didn't go in. Lovely rural village.

Clean and remote, yes. but at one end is a bar which seems to be closed all the time. WE arrived at 1900 in a saturday , Nobody there. WE parked the Car left at the entrance. all quite. at midnight some Cars arrived and parked at the bar to make a funny saturday night Party. they did Not Take Care about us, beside loud music nothing happend. Cat is still there and hungry. Not Sure what this place really is. very Clean so someone Takes Care. maybe on another weekday a perfect spot. approach via Village more easy.

Great spot for overnight camp with van. Recommend arriving from 8pm as it’s cheaper. 8pm-8am = $20. Pay at machines. Wardens do go around in AM to check. Well lit public restrooms. Stayed on a Saturday night, was busy with locals at the beach but that didn’t bother us. Was very safe. Good location. Note- there are a lot of loud sea lions which make noises all through the night- this also didn’t bother us! Would recommend this spot.

Abdul helped us out with a spare part, they do great work, they even wait for you outside the city and will guide you to the garage.

his friend then guided us through the nereby market.

the part was a little pricey, but it is a matter of availability and demand, isn't it?
