This is a non-starter. Using the GPS coordinates provided I was taken down a very rough road to a massive steel gate. Even if you were able to clear the gate the road beyond is a nightmare, suitable only for motorcycles.

As previously reported. Clean and nice scenery. Road noise is very minimal, but there is noise from trucks driving through the car park area during the night that will wake you.

This place is GORGEOUS. Ana, the daughter, was going to help us with a place to camp but when we saw the rooms we had no problem paying 350k each to stay here. It is spotless, very cute, amazing beds, quiet at night. Incredibly helpful and kind owners, and Ana has good English if you need further help. Plenty of space in the courtyard for our bikes. If you’re not sure about staying in Onzaga then let this be your sign! Such a restful night. Also it’s called a hostal but there are private bathrooms.

Unfortunately we cannot say this place is worth it. It’s a nice setting, but they charge 40 per person per night, which is expensive for what you get. The facilities are a little old, sinks are dirty, and there is only one bathroom and shower. Electric shower is only warm and you get an electric shock when turning the handle. Also they do not do a good job emptying the trash cans. Owner is nice and lots of nice trees. But unfortunately we would not stay again.

I spent the night in the van parked next to some residential houses. No one came to bother me while I slept.

residential road with no overnight parking restrictions. Best bet is to pull up ready for the night and keep lights down inside so nothing looks odd on the street. plenty of service for all carriers.

Laundromat as you are entering Owen Sound. Machines worked well. Right near a Tim Hortons.

Very nice views, random camping available for miles. No trouble getting my 30’ bumper pull in.

There’s a water fountain next to the nature center’s entrance with a side spicket that can be used to fill your portable water containers.
The nature center itself has nice displays with information about the park that I enjoyed looking through too.

Stayed one night in our rv. One other person with a fifth wheel near by. Left early and had no problems.

O lugar é lindo e muito espaçoso. A visão é incrível. Há espaço para muitos veículos. Até esse ponto não é necessário 4x4. Não há facilidades por perto.

The place is beautiful and very spacious. The view is incredible. There is room for many vehicles. Up to that point no 4x4 is needed. There are no facilities close by.

2nd biggest wine cellars in Moldova. There are trips every hours

Easy place to get things sorted, but I wouldn’t recommend Megafon. It’s $15 for 20 GB, but in most places (even in larger towns) you won’t have internet connection. It says there is LTE, but does almost nothing. More succes with TCell so far.

Pull off into Parque Sarmiento. Stayed here for 2 nights. There were two other big rigs. Quieter than nearby places because this street has less traffic. Police passed regularly and waved us, they even parked here for a while. A lot of locals came to exercise. Also some people came to chill on Friday night. Just in front of public toilets which open 8:00 to 21:00. A little hard to park leveled.

This road is easily doable for any kind of vehicle. Drive carefully and enjoy the amazing nature. I

Supermarket at fuel station no longer houses the post office. There is a NamPost office along the new storefronts to the right of the Shell station.

You have to register your SIM at NamPost now. Good luck finding it open (on a Saturday).

A pretty, small, river town with plenty of parking possibilities- on the streets, or next to the riverwalk along the river. Public toilets across from the brewery.

Very cute town. There is a dirt road from the boat launch to a shady lot by the river. Sign says 2 night camping limit. Just register at the sign. It is free. A few numbered designated sites and tent sites on the grass. Grills and picnic tables. A kind, police officer may stop to tell you he will be cruising by to check on you throughout the night. Public bathroom across from brewery. Buy a beer at the brewery to help them out.

Good for a night. Unfortunately very dirty and rundown (bathroom) but luckily water comes from above and is hot. Lagunas are nice. Trucks on the street nearby use engine brake in the morning and evening (some drove at night). Payed 150 Pesos for two.

A small parking lot next to an old chapel. You will find a nice view at the lake. There are public toilets, but very dirty. Very calm here.

As quaint, friendly and peaceful as previously described. At least two campsites have private ablutions, braai, power and one has a sink/scullery area. Work is underway to complete another riverfront chalet but this does not detract from the general ambience.

Camp peacocks make a change from the usual camp dogs!
