alastairjward | Thanks for the heads up. After having my fish lunch (20bob) on the way back from torotoro I asked about the camping. It's only 15bob a night, 10bob more to use the crystal clear pool. Really good value and nice people. I decided to chill all afternoon and use the pool and sun loungers. |

Jimmytravelsaround | update May 2023: we only made it half way up with our 5,6 meter long Sprinter. the way up is newly made until where we got. We walked the remaining part and got rewarded with a great partially rebuild inka ruin village. there was no one there to collect the 7s entrance fee. the hike further up the mountain on an old inka path is gorgeous |

gwaite34 | A nice lady at the gift store in Hyder suggested we stay here. She suggested that on a Friday night, we may have local visitors but none on Sunday evening. This is a nice big and flat gravel pit that we had all to ourselves. Easy to find and get to. |

ALTRGO.BUS | Slept here one night, felt super safe. Not so much noisy but I think it’s low season now, we were the only car in the parking space during the night. We arrived around 4:30pm were charged 50$ pesos but 10 minutes later the person collecting the money were gone so it could have been free … They said the gate will be closed at 8:00pm but never was. I dont feel like this is an official « paid parking » but for 50$ pesos, whatever ! |

amplitude_2023 | Due to the new dam, the town of Yusufeli and the roads along the former river bank have been flooded. None of the roads around here that are shown in Google maps or open street maps exist anymore. The newly built tunnels are open, but the new bridge across the river is currently still under construction. Large detours necessary.

samdstorm | Fairly quiet night here, some traffic noise but compared to sleeping on the side of the road like most of the spots around here it was great. Free wifi from Denny's. A couple homeless people were wandering around and even knocked on our door at different times, we ignored and they wandered off with no fuss. We are an RV so I think regular vans will have no problems. |

rebbynbrian | It’s not terrible if you need to stop for a night, gate closed at 9pm. $37 which is way expensive for what the campsite offers . Camp is located right next to the highway so you will hear cars throughout the night and heavy traffic in the morning. Power equipment 10 ft away from our tent woke us up at 8am. Wont be staying here again |

dieselbeast.the.bus | Stayed here when my bus broke down in town and the mechanic wouldn't let me stay in it. This is one of the nicest and cleanest hostels I have stayed at. Excellent vibes, lots of thru hikers and climbers. Perfect if you need a little inside time! Small pets are allowed in private rooms, and the kitchen is well stocked with shared food. Worth the stay! |

rubyontheroad | We stayed one night when it was not "officially" open so very few campers. Pretty place with some spots right on the river. Probably not for big rigs and many spots are not level. A bit of road noise but quiet at night. Several hiking trails available. $25 no hookups. |

lori.brownbat | road to governor arch has recently been graded. great views. no signal- verizon. super close to Kodachrome sp. I used the laundromat in the park which was very clean and good rates (of course you have to pay the day use fee, but if you are going to anyway it is good option) |

Shaun Austin | Easy fill-up! He charged me $3.24 for about 40 gallons. Note, the hose attached is old & nasty looking so preferably bring your own. You also have to shut the spicket multiple times to get it to fully shut off. Last person left it running. |

[email protected] | Great privately owned campground outside of town. The host and their dog Seven were awesome to deal with. A nice spot to get away from all of the overcrowded park campgrounds located near by. Will definitely stop by the next time that I am this way to charge batteries and get a good nights sleep. |

ahoy.jenni | This place seems really nice! The south entrance that Google maps shows is closed, so use the north entrance. The view of the river is amazing and there's several camping spots with shelters and picnic tables. Pit toilets, marked Mens and Women's. The door to the men's was broken. |
