Very very big supermarkted. It has almost everything. Its directly next to the road from Georgia to Vladikavkaz. It has a big parking area so accessible for all vehicles. Good place to spend your left over Russian money when going to Georgia.
It feels like an European supermarket which was nice after Central Asia.

The sleeping place could no longer be found. However, there are a thousand other good places in the desert.
The road across the desert is in good condition and is regularly used by construction vehicles as well as trucks. The desert is not a lonely wilderness, it reminds more of a big construction site.
But off the "main road" you can find beautiful paths and dunes and also solitude.

Nice archeological site, one of the oldest in the world. Entrance fee 480 TL. First watch an introduction then walk to the site (700meters) or take shuttle bus

Place is great for an inner city parking. The government building has cameras everywhere so I felt pretty safe.

We regularly spend nights up here. This time unlucky with horses, but we could hear them. They are one of the last 2 herds of the stara planina wild horses. The other herd is around Beklemento further west. The male is very protective, so don’t mess with him.
Very lonely and quiet place, love it every time we sleep there!

Impossible to go with a 4x4. The track has been washed away. So sad because it's very beautiful!

Only place with shade far and wide.
Often hit by the water trucks and you are not often alone during the day. Still a great place to escape the heat.

Still the same caretaker. He showed us everything and was very friendly.
Clean toilet with running water.
Worth it for a short stop if you are in the region. Also sufficient as a place to sleep. For us, however, the area would be too desolate to stay there longer.

for shure a little bit dirty but who cares its so nice to have a warm room after a windy day out on the bycicle and in our opinion every cyclist can help to keep that great place in the best possible condition. thanks to the owners to give us the chance to stay here.
just ask at the bakery for the room and the friendly staff will show it to you.
the bakery itsself is also good for breakfast and when you have been for 6 weeks in chile also very cheap :D

We stayed here for 6 nights, 3k per night for two and the car, access to toilets and shower ( decent but cold water ).

We loved being here, our first night we were parked in front of the mess, next morning one of the fathers asked us if we can move to another area since the next day is the church day, we agreed and went with him to see the new spot, we suggested another spot which they use for weddings sometimes, he said it is even better if we stay there.

The spot that we did choose is perfect, it is flat, gravel ground and surrounded by palm trees for shade and has the best view on the city, super quite at night and day time.

If you come here ask them to park also where we parked.

A tip :

Leave your car parked and take a taxi down to the city, all is around 3 to 5 km far and it costs 1000xaf when you take a taxi from here for two people.

The Mango has several bungalows, clean and with internal shower. The current price for a room for 2 people is 35000 per day including a basic breakfast.

It was basic but clean, good deal for the price to be in Liberia, the only thing that was really missing was a mosquito net

A nice tent and RV park near Boston. I stayed a tent site with electric, paid $40. Check their website for detail. It was hard to find an open site at a reasonable price this time. Luckily, I found this, and it may open until Nov.19 in 2023. It has hot shower, laundry, and wi-fi services.

We parked at the circle and there is room for just about any siz rig. However, there is a lot of traffic passing through the circle all the time, so it's not that quiet. Taxis still come to rest, clean their car, and pee. There are some side streets which might be better for traffic, but be aware of the no parking streets. The beginning of La Gruta might be a good option. Good location though to see town.

Good laundry service. Same day for 6sol/kg or 24 hour service for 3 sol/kg. Friendly people and everything was done when promised. Cheapest we found in the city.

One of the most beautiful places on chiloé! We drove to the grassy area after the water crossing. We stayed three nights. A lot of dolphins, a sea lion who wants to be a dolphin, great view on the Andes and you can collect mussels (with a shovel) while low tide.
If you go to the very end of the way you can collect a lot of firewood.
As always keep the places clean and collect some rubbish.

What a magical spot! Spent two nights here, saw our first snow of the season and it was SO beautiful and peaceful. This site has beautiful views of the surrounding forest and wetland. Only 2 cars drove by on our second day, both seemed to be in hunting attire.
There’s a second site within view of this one, but you’d need high clearance to get over the dip in the road that leads to it.
Had 1-2 bars Verizon service most of the time, enough for a text or call and sometimes internet.

We came from the north via Rossman Hill Rd. and then Burnt Hill Rd. and had no problems in our 2wd Chevy express (it’s well maintained gravel).

This is the Port office where you can talk to the chef du Port and he can tell you when the next boat to Brazzaville or Bangui is. the big boat only comes once every month or 2 so more likely you will have to get on a smaller boat. the smaller boats leave 1-2 times per week. to go to Brazzaville takes 4-7 days depending on river conditions and costs 15,000xaf. it's not possible with vehicles but you're able to take your bicycle on the boat.

As explained by the previous writers, simple process. show passport, 2 thumb prints on a document. 5Sol for the sim card and 15 for max data. It took less than 10 min.

Get your permit in Inhassoro
S 21.53727, E 35.20552 and drive on the beach next to 10 to 15 meter high Red dunes, past fisherman operating with their nets and their colourfull crafted handmade boats. Beautiful, total distance was 38km. Enjoy a lunch at Tress Sereias.

If you change money here, they will only accept 50$ or 100$ notes.
