Kind of okay place. Nice trees and not windy at all. Stayed here 1 night. Some homeless guys with tents live near the entrance of the campsite. Some abandoned (?) van is next to the river. The second night when we wanted to stay here, some barely running car came to the campsite, first they were a bit further from us near the river and later randomly when it got dark reparked next to us, about 10m away with car running, just the 2 of us at the campsite (weird or no?), so we just left. No showers or bathrooms.

Expensive for a poorly maintained camper area. $10 ppn seems too much. We went to other place. Also, the owner showed unwelcoming to newcomers.

Huge parking lot to visit ruins of Tulum.
It has a toilet, which is closed from about 7pm to 7am. Since there is also a large tourist bus park here, it is also easy for very large rigs!
Spending the night is not a problem, but you pay 2x parking fee because it is billed per day, not 24 hours a day!
Prices as described are divided into 3 categories, whereby in the middle category tour vans are meant> With our 7m Sprinter we paid the price for a normal car (150p / day).

Worst campground we've seen in 6 months in Southern Africa. Absolutely not worth 10 USD/ppn! The main building at the campground is falling apart. Everything is dirty and not looked after at all. The worst part is the nauseating smell of bat poop everywhere. We did get a key to a "villa," but it was in similar shape. Mice poop everywhere and almost no water in the shower. Staff was not very welcoming. USD cash only.

Fantastic campground owned by an amazing host, Barbara. She also has incredible people working for her, and everyone is super inviting and helpful.
There are many different options to choose from for camping. Vehicles can park beachfront and there are a few outlets to plug into (extension cords recommended). Tables and hammocks throughout the beachfront side of the property. (5000pp).
The main property has a variety of camping options (Ranging from tents to single dwellings that have electricity range from 5000-20,000 /night). Barbara also rents out her very welcoming home for $100US dollars/night.
There is a community outdoor kitchen on property with everything you need that is donation based off of what you use.
Toilets and showers are cleaned daily and the whole property is well taken care of.
Dogs on site that live on property, all of them SUPER friendly and got along with my pup.
I usually only stay places one night and move on but I just loved the atmosphere, people, amenities so much that I stayed longer!

We slept there before heading to Argentina.
Quiet place when the border is closed (7 PM). At night, no movement on the road except a police vehicle. Very safe.

Got gently kicked off the city limit by a police officer, who indicated/suggested the south/north limits. Saw few rigs at the north side (Colorado river) at 7AM. I don’t plan to spent any more $$$ in Moab.

Huge campsite in the forest, close to the playa. Still in low-season so lights in the bathroom were not enabled yet and they hadn’t been cleaned for a while. We did not test the showers. But we had the entire space to ourselves. Paid 12.000 for 2 person + small campervan. Make sure to send a WhatsApp message if you’re coming in low season.

Police are currently doing sweeps of homeless and others who “live” at Desert Breeze Park. They are hitting every park, coming with their mega horns around 12 midnight to get homeless and travelers to leave. Just an fyi

Onboard propane tank filling.
Slightly strange way of paying as you are charged for a 30lb fill (other sizes are available) irrespective of how much they use. Best value is to ensure that your tank is empty!

very nice hotel, owner is friendly. 50 Yuan for a double room, 80 for an even more spacious one. Clean sheets and good shower. The place accepts foreigners, he just had to register me with the Police. i was allowed to take my bicycle inside. Some good restaurants close by as well.
It is also on Ctrip, same location, but there it's 9 Yuan more expensive, so just turn up and ask for the price.

After spending two weeks in Cajamarca with Angel, this was a very welcome reprieve from the noise of the city. It was so peaceful and tranquil, we ended up staying 5 days without any problems. The locals would walk by with their sheep and donkeys every morning. Some locals did come by asking for 'propina' or 'panecillos'. It wasn't until the last day that a man came by asking for money because he claimed it was his land, however we didn't think this is so. The stone gate that you enter to access the property is the same as the Cumbemayo Park and a park employee came by the first day and asked if we had a ticket. We said we would be visiting the park in the morning and he was happy with that. But everyone was very friendly and we really enjoyed Cumbemayo.

We really enjoyed strolling through these amazing rock formations. We left our rig at the wild camp and walked over, not to save the 2 soles, but just for the sake of convenience. It was busy with tour buses when we arrived, but once you get further down the trails, there is lots of room to spread out and get some nice pictures.

Lovely lodge with open-air bar/eating place and pool; self-catering but also offering pre-ordered meals. Rooms and bathrooms tidy and clean. Deon and Martha are warmly welcoming and caring hosts offering extensive advice to travelers. 80 USD pn for a two room mini-appartment for two persons with bathroom and kitchenette. They also accept campers/overlanders. Warm recommendation!
(Announced for next year: A real campsite on their neighboring property tailored to the needs of overlanders and campers.)

What a great place to stay before seeing ( or not seeing due to clouds) the Poas Volcano. It’s a MUCH better option than any of the spots mentioned closer to the park.
We stayed 2 nights and had just one meal at the restaurant which was delicious . No pressure from the owner to eat there at all but why not?!
The owner is an overlander wannabe so he’s thrilled to host travellers. We loved it

parking lot in the center of the town, woke up with marks on my tires so beware of that and follow their 23hr limit, I was there from 6:30pm-7am so had no issues. Excellent wifi service with verizon, 24 hr store open across the street seemingly, lots of locals out and about in the evening/night, other than that felt safe/comfortable.
