road is now completely graded over. no large wash outs or holes! gravel road was one of the best that we’ve done, can be completed by any car :)

Pull in off of Buzzard Rd. Large enough for 1 vehicle and roof top tent. Good ATT service. Small fire ring.

right past the sheriffs office. it is a nice place. it is november so bathrooms were locked and water was turned off. we parked our 40 foot fifth wheel in one of the 4 pads. no one else here. kids got to play on the extremely big play set. tried to call number twice. no one ever answered. so didn’t know what to do with the 5$ we exited through the entrance due to the small exit.

wouldn’t recommend going on pad one. there are rocks in front of it.

nice spot. you cannot see any Nasca pictures but many straight lines from the hill. pay seems to depend on the day. we had to pay 3 S per person on a Saturday. on Sunday noone was there to sell tickets and everyone was visiting for free.

Only thing you’re gonna see here is the light from the local gas station, still a good spot and a cool town. 10/10 would stay again but don’t plan on stargazing

Got a triple room for 11,500 per night. Hot water worked to begin with but then just cold. Beds comfy, small breakfast included. Waited out some very strong winds here and it seemed like the least rickety building in the pueblo!

Despite a decent sized wall in a strong wind it still swirls around. Can people please take their toilet paper with them- it doesn’t biodegrade unless you hadn’t noticed 🙃

Pizzas don’t start until 1 but the shop is ok. They only have salty water (unless you buy bottled) but we refilled with drinking water at the workers camp nearby

after spending about 2 hours trying to Hot spring at Smith's valley, which was a bust, we had to take off and find camping for the night. turned on the forest road. drove down it but was washed out so turned around and hunkered down behind some trees. Nice enough spot for the night, beat a campground. built a fire ring and is on BLM land.

The place is now called Ari Munani and you can find it on Instagram for info and pictures etc. It’s a lovely place to go with partner and friends but don’t expect luxuries. It has all the facilities necessary for hygiene and cooking. Owners are lovely but you need to make sure you get in touch with them beforehand so they know you are coming. I have a small car and i was able to get to the location without any problems. It is super easy to get to and just in case you need extra help they send you a short video and lots of directions so you don’t get lost. They offer breakfast and lunch but don’t expect restaurant service. I will definitely visit again. I forgot to mention that the road to Pueblo pance has improved so any car is able to reach this place without problems.

Basic truck stop. Okay spot for the night, but would not recommend if you have a larger rig. We've got a 40ft skoolie and stopped here because it has designated RV parking, away from the semi parking. Truckers took all the RV spots anyway.
