Paved road access, respectful neighbours, about ten other vans/campers but enough room for everyone to have a bit of space. Very close to Bend. Felt safe here as solo female traveller.

Bon voyage

Arrived after dark, easy to find. There are a few large spots to find your own space, a couple other rigs there before us.

Easy hike down to Black Rock Hot Springs in the morning… not the best hot spring in the world but good enough to get in.

Great spot, beautiful sunrise, super easy to get to in a Vandoit Transit camper van. Another truck towing mid-sized RV trailer was in there, too.

Beautiful large area with access to the beach. Plenty of spots to stay, near the beach on grass, in the forest. Some locals come by to do their thing; fishing, playing or walking. Really nice!

200 Cordoba now for sleeping in the hammock. Street very close. Family is lovely. Water tap is NOT drinking water (lots of particles) and you cannot park close by. Could not use the kitchen but the water filter to refill bottles.

Showers were indeed free; you just have to sign in at the front desk. The building is lovely and warm inside. Pictures are from the woman’s changing rooms. There is one toilet stall, two showers with curtains (the rest are open) and two plug sockets at the mirror.

Just us and another camper here. Came here after not having any luck with the campgrounds but turned out well as we were able to get up to crater lake super early compared to others! Was really quite cold outside though so be prepared. A few work trucks swung through every now and again but didn’t say anything to us so seemed alright.

We stayed one night, camping, 10 USD per person. Beautiful place, we were alone.
They warmed up water for the shower for us, there are tables and benches with a small tined roof.
We had a large beer ( 5000Tsh) while watching the sun go down. The Kili stayed in the clouds but the sunset was stunning.

Great location. Many spots offered, all with covered tables. Had hot shower, but very old facilities. The place was basically empty but we stayed at the far end and it was very peaceful. Didn’t have any issue with flies. Had a very nice walk to the beach from the campground on a trail

Absolutely no noise, no traffic after 9h30. We arrived just before diner, installed our bright yellow leveling blocks and enjoy this peaceful place. This morning 7h50, police car stopped next to our 25ft RV... and say "Good morning" leaving the washroom and left! Now we know it was ok to sleep here, in November. In summer time this place must be crowded.

Nice spot. Close to the road but barely visible and quiet (very few trafic at nigh). Lots of space. You can walk a little downward to go to the river (little water in the beginning of november for us). The access is in the curve, between the rocks and the rail. Fireplace and wood. Felt safe and good for a night.

Lovely family, let us camp in the hallway (quite a big area) for 20 BOB for two. Didn’t bat an eye at the bikes or us using our little stove. Very much appreciated as there was a lot of rain on the salar the night we stayed.

H-E-B security escorted me to the car wash parking area and told me nobody would bother me over here. Just staying the night for sleeping and leaving early. Lots of noise from I-35 and the parking lot, but it’s clean and I can grab groceries in the morning before heading out.

No guid or permission needed in Irans desert and none governmental areas! Some regional and locals guides have access to iOverlander and put their comments to insecure travelers and get some money. But it’s good if you want to be with a local guid or if you feel insecure going by yourself into places like this. We want there without guid and middle men and had a wonderful time.

Ram/3500 promaster These guys are professional. I had gone to a previous place and installed two new tyres and they said I needed all new bushing$$ with only 40,00 miles I was hesitant to believe, my mechanic bought me here and the guys measured and tested the wheels, all I needed was an adjustment as the tire alien was out and canter leaved the tyres in which caused the west on my tyres. These guys were a lot more detailed in measurements then the previous company I had went to…. Ps.. the shop is just on the other side of the light drive slowly not to miss it

We drove up on the island (2WD, doable this time a year), hiked to the top (there's a pretty clear path, just take enough water and sunscreen and wear closed shoes as there's a slippery gravel part). Enjoyed it a lot, but ended up not staying on the island as there were a lot of annoying flies everywhere. Probably cause there was no wind. So we just parked off shore. Very nice views, no tourists, free. If you're debating whether it's worth it to pay the 30 bob for Inca Huasi, well you probably support the locals, the toilets are very clean, but this island has the same cacti and views without the tourists.
