On the way through town. At the end of the road, right by the ocean but no beach. Beautiful and quiet.

15k for a room, very basic but clean bedsheets. Mosquito net with many holes. Bucket shower.
Parking on the side, not closed but watched at night.
Was fine for a night, I would not stay more.

Lovely to be next to a gorgeous beach. Fairly flat grass and gravel. Toilet at the small port nearby. Height barrier of a generous 2.2. Not for big rigs. Campsite nearby for big rigs.

Wow. Gorgeous, ocean side.
Turn left at cemetery for grassy cliff top spot, or continue down hill to gravel lot by wharf as others described.
About 60-90 minutes from Port Aux Basque ferry terminal.

Wonderful place. You can just rock up and put your van just about anywhere. Situated on a hotel's property, including a restaurant with delicious meals and wine from their own garden, surrounded by all kinds of animals and within walking distance from Lago di Garda. For free! Best spot ever?

Great little spot off the highway. Road noise is barely noticeable. 2 bars TMobile and plenty of space for any size rig. There was a gate that I opened then closed to get in but it had a sign on it letting people to “please close gate” when they’re done. Maybe there’s livestock in here?

Just for one night.
In this Region it is very hard to find a free spot. So this is a option for one night. The place is very small and a maximum of two campervans will fit on this place.

The site is an old, seemingly , demolished restaurant . The ground is leveled and big rigs can park here . Nobody came by although there is a house nearby.

You can be in the shade or in the sun and the beach is a 100 meter stroll from the site.

It seems cars have been using it also to access the sandy beach , also great for a long walk .

Great place to spend a night or even a few nights and enjoy the beach

There is 8 camp sites just past pit toilets next to a walking path. Exit 140 by shell gas station and go on frontage road. Next to freeway. It is a little noisy from all the traffic. Seasonal open from May 15 to November 15. Fees $20 per site $10 for seniors. Picnic tables and fire pit provided.

Ok so very mixed feelings.
1. incredible place and evening. started a nice little fire on the beach. superb vibe.
2. wind picked up like crazy after dark. up to a point where it was too loud to sleep for us and it felt like we would fly away.
some check in mentions this but even the bug 4x4 rig here moved at night. probably more wind than usual but still.

I don't get scared easily but that was scary. slept 2 hours all night.

Really nice place for staying before or after Cusco. Margot and her family are really friendly and welcoming. Over the last year they already received 150 travelers from around the world. You can either camp in the garden or under a roof on top of the building. They even offer some beds and you can use the bathroom, kitchen and wifi. If you want, you can give a donation for the use of gas, wifi and water, but they don’t force you to do it.

While nowhere near as picturesque as the spots further in the canyon, this spot was large enough and farther away from the road than others and worked for a night. Busy with traffic on a weekend but quiet overnight. In the morning, we walked the 5km loop around the top of the dam.

Cramped sites set up more for fishing camps than family fun. Right by road with trucks hauling all night. No bathrooms yet for season, although this was not posted online. (No running water was posted online.) Pit toilets open at boat ramp.

This is the first camping allowed along this fire road from the 89. Lots of spaces for any size rig. Ground is mostly cinder. Great Verizon cell service. You can choose between sun or shade. Obviously it’s a OHV area so they’ll be lots of toys buzzing around.

German passport with car and CDP
easy border, took us maybe together 20Minutes

Moz-Side
1) Security Check: the guy just looked for 1 second in the car
2) Border Building (lefts side):
> Exit-Stamp: they wanted to see the visa-invoice, took 2 seconds
> CDP: super friendly guy with perfect english, he knows what to do

Eswatini Side
1) Getting gate pass
2) Border Building
> First Desk (right side): just hand out your passport (we don't know whats he did), took 2 seconds
> Seconds Desk: visa (on arrival, we didn't pay any fees); just asked how long we will stay and which is our first destination > passport stamp on gate pass
> CDP: the guy know what to do, we had to pay 100R, but he didn't explaine for what ;-); payment with credit card > customs stamp on gate pass
3) Car Check: just a short check
4) Security guy: he checks the invoice of the 100R and he wants the gate pass

that's it - nice border
