We have taken our ram promaster here numerous times. First was for an engine swap along with changing the radiator, which came out to $1000. We bought the engine elsewhere. They did a great job and were finished when they said they would be.

Not possible to stay overnight anymore due to the many really poisonous snakes in the area and an incident with a tourist (as we were told). Stay at the tourist center Ygazu park instead.

it really is a beautiful little spot and easy to get to on paved roads. it feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere but you're not. and you're right alongside Betty Brook.

affordable, home style lebanese food in a basic setup. platters for 2 are about $23 each. if your in to middle eastern food this may be the most affordable place to get it in Brisbane and the gold coast

We spent 3 nights there. It was amazing, close to the river. It is just passing the boat launch to the left. You can also just walk to the bathroom in the parking for the boats.
I was super super quiet. We did a campfire. Do not leave trash. There’s a trail like 3 min away and is cool

Lovely campground comparable and cheaper than the USFS campground down the road. $20 for non residents.

Went inside and asked about overnight parking, security told me it’s only allowed if you have an rv or a trailer. If like me you’re sleeping in a car they’ll kick you out.

Spring Creek Campground 45.35754, -118.31252

Big open spot. Big rig friendly. Camped at the back. Very quiet. Starlink worked well. Looks like an old weigh station. Large covered platform, would most likely work well for renting to stay dry.

Nice spot. Construction workers were there in the morning. No issues. Camped with 2 other vans.

We didn’t find that the other wildcamping spots close to the border of Rwanda sounded promising, so we were happy to find this huge quarry.

No people around, a lot of space, not visible from the road, you can hear the noise of the road a little tho.

Big dirt quarry -2.68500, 30.99101

We stayed here for one night before crossing the border. We hide our car very well in between the bushes so people didn’t see us.

Grassland -2.44567, 30.83127

Great place to camp. There a ton of space so you aren’t close to other people. Be careful to go towards dry lake though because the place close to broadway road isn’t the BLM and is a private property.

Joshua Tree North BLM 34.16433, -116.22619

good spot to sleep for the night. no one bothered us and other people were there. good space and easy to get in and out! these roads are dangerous at night with a bigger rig so just play it safe and enjoy the views in the morning♡

Bruhel Point 39.59930, -123.78506

Reviews are a bit outdated. I called asking for a bundle deal, since I’m traveling for work for a period of time there, and they said $50.00/ night for everything, or 1200/month. Havn’t tried the old walk with confidence and no one will bother you yet.

Gateway RV Park 52.82845, -119.27167

Superbe endroit directement en haut d’un puit minier. Aménagé par la municipalité, pour une douzaine de petits vr, moins de 30 pieds. L’espace est très bien entretenu et accueillant. Merci Val des Sources

Not recommended!! Jo seems to be a nice guy, but: He picked us up near Babylon and took us to his house (or rather a little in front of his house, as there was a construction site by the river). When we went shopping with him for dinner, he paid for everything and said we could give him the money in dollars at the end. He initially wanted $100 and after negotiations he took $80. An Iraqi contact told us afterwards that the meal shouldn't have cost more than $30. Jo justified the amount by saying that the prices in Hilla were high. We don't believe that, as otherwise very few Iraqis would be able to buy food.

Mostly flat field to the left of the Museum main building. Museum doesn’t open until June and closes end of December. Water and dump station. Quiet open field with dandelions and bumble bees today. 👍🏻😄🐝

The first left after speaker rd turns to gravel. Take the inclined gravel road up until the clearcut area stops and the forested area begins. There’s a mostly level spot there with an amazing view. Clean. No shade so probably not great in hot months. No reception but plenty of clear sky if you have starlink.
