The place is a large parking lot kind of abandoned now, quite smelly, no one person charging money, no WiFi any longer but police cars do drive by the main Street about every 5 minutes and a police car is standing next, under the bridge.

We were robed here, a bag was snatched from our car and they knew which bag to pick. The only time this particular bag was exposed was in the reception at check in.
There are loads of similar reviews on Google.
There is clearly organised crime here.

Nice, quiet, clean and well-run recreationDotGov campground. We were in site 10 and we were about 20’ from the West Dolores River. Perfect weather to leave the windows open for the 2 weeks we stayed there. 70 days and high 40s-50s at night.
Potable water but no hose hookup.
Dump, showers, ice, potable water fill and firewood at Stoner RV less than 10 miles away.

This is such a great place. Lots of sites all around the lake, well separated with lovely views. Pit toilets at the main area. Many sites have picnic tables and fire rings, but not all. Not heavily used overnight due to the “no alcohol” rule. Three bars of AT&T LTE. Best part: FREE!! :)

A great find. I found a small spot with a fire ring. Just outside of the Grand Canyon and free for up to 14 days. Quit after the sight seeing helicopters stop running. 5 stars

Its a nice place to stay for one night. Nothing special but really quiet and really kind people around. We arrived pretty late and was already dark so we decided to stay here.

Quiet, private places to camp off SR 73-FR 140. Great cell service. 8 mins from town of Williams. This is my second trip camping here with my dog and cat, but this time I heard a mountain lion chirping outside my tent at 2:00 am 6/6/24. Loved it here, but leaving before I tempt fate.

We usually stay at White Swan for the night on our way through but it was full and it was almost dark so we checked this one out and it was perfect for a quick little stop over. A couple other rigs plus us and there was plenty of room for a few more. Hwy sounds were minimal as we were only there from 10pm until 7am. Beautiful little lake to wake up to.

Drywilliam Lake Rest Stop 54.06111, -124.55267

We stayed one night. The resort is currently closed therefore no restuarant. Staff are around doing maintenance work. We could camp on the beach. Only French and Portuguese is spoken. Facilities are open for use. A good sunset. We didn’t expect to find a campsite in this neck of the woods so this was a surprise.

Quite a few camp sites in the trees with tables and for pits and toilets. It was too dark and buggy so we drove down to the lake and boat ramp area and were surprised to see we could camp there! Wide open and not ideal on a gravel lot but we wanted the sun and it was quiet with an occasional boater coming to drop his boat in the lake

This place is a must-stay. We parked our van at the top of the property near the main house. No problems driving there. Fantastic, beautiful stone hot showers and clean toilets with TP. The calm seeps into you. It’s a magical place.

Small spot at the end of the road on the beach. Lot of rubbish on the beach, I cleared up some and put it in the bins that were on the beach. Very quiet and safe at night. We have stayed here on two occasions and had the whole place to ourselves.

Douches et toilettes propres. Bien situé au milieu de nul part, si on veux visiter Castle Butte et la Big Muddy Valley. Il y a un magasin général et un bureau de poste

"If you're looking for a peaceful, independent, comfortable, and clean place to stay in Bella Vista, then this is definitely the place! We stayed for almost two months with my partner in this house, and it was truly wonderful days. We saw the season change from autumn to winter, picked apples with Dayana, the owner of the house, went for walks and drives around the area, and the landscapes are beautiful, quite tranquil. If you're seeking peace, friends, and a sense of family, you have to stay at this cabin 🫶🏽
