Great campground. The host this summer was a bit of a mess. Arrived at the campground at 230pm and she hadn’t put out the reservation signs. Multiple people had payed for sites that were already reserved. Was grateful to find a spot available for the weekend. Great views and trails off the campground. Did run into a black bear only about 150 feet into gull trail

Report Check-In

Great CG. Very clean pit toilet. Nice location and hiking trail to Gull Rock starts in CG.
Quiet, especially if generators off.
Water pumps with slightly brown water, clears up after running for a bit.

Nice campground, great location at the end of the Hope highway, nice views to Turnagain Arm.
Plenty of sites available on a Tuesday, and there are a few FCFS sites. You can also reserve on-line, but only in advance.

Report Check-In

Beautiful park. No service and no fee because it's still winter season. Did the Gull Rock hike and enjoyed The Creekbend for lunch in Hope.

Report Check-In

We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to visit Hope and hike in the area. We're self-contained in our 25 foot MH and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weekend in late August. This is a nice, clean CG a mile from Hope. There are approximately 30 primitive (no hookups) sites arrayed on a loop. There are a mix of tent only, back in and pull through sites. Some are nearer the water with views while the others are in the forest. The sites are generously sized and surrounded by trees for shade and privacy. The parking pads are paved and most require some leveling. There are pit toilets and trash bins. There are water pumps without threaded hoses to fill an RV. There's no dump station. There's good ATT and Verizon cell service.
