Overnight parking in and around Eugene seemed sketchy and the Wal-Mart listed in Springfield has signs discouraging it. This spot is close to town and ended up being a great choice. Quiet site with RV hookups, clean bathrooms, private showers, and a laundromat. Not what I expected after driving around the city all day. Doesn't feel urban at all, and it was worth paying for the amenities. Our relatively private site had 2 spigots, 3 options for power, a fire pit, and picnic table for $30. I'm sure they have cheaper options but this was all that was available last minute. We prefer to boondock, but this sure beats a sketchy parking lot.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
$45 a night. Good hook ups but no privacy or real space to walk without being right next to another camper some of which seemed a bit sketchy. We didn’t get to see the river but hear there is a little spot to check out. Laundry & showers close at 8:30 and bathrooms weren’t clearly labeled. We arrived at night so had to use a port a potty. Good if you’re in a pinch but for 45 bucks there’s better spots for free.
Laundry is $2 for wash & $1 for dryer. No detergent purchase options so plan on bringing your own.
Nice hosts!
Report Check-Incampground is now 35$, but more than ok for the area around here. Hot and clean showers and good WiFi.
Report Check-InWe were in Site #2, 32' Class A towing a Honda CR-V. Did not need to disconnect. Full hookups worked well. Sites are open year-round. Pedestal for light and power has a light on top for easy after-dark hookup. Site #2 is a loop pull-through off the main road. Asphalt surface and mostly level. We just stayed overnight on our trip elsewhere so cannot speak to activities in the area. Our one night stay was peaceful and quiet. Per usual in February there was light rain off and on while we were there. We are planning to stay again on our way through and also check out options for a longer stay.
Report Check-InUnfortunately the showers have codes and we were not told the code when we checked in. It appears you have to call the office during office hours and schedule a shower. We did try calling the office during business hours but got an answering machine and they never called back. So no showers for us.
Report Check-InCampsite is ok, facilities are good (3 washingmachines, 3 dryers, 2 hotshowers). But it’s close to highway 5 and really noisy. We have a rooftop and didn’t sleep well.
