Good for a night if you’re tired, great view of the lake and plenty of trees/bushes. But .... the road is loud all night. The truck traffic never ended all night. Ear plugs would’ve maybe been helpful.

Stopped here for a night and wasn’t bothered. Woke up around 4am when the trucks started ripping up the highway. It is loud, so that’s up to you if you can handle it. Didn’t hear any during the night. There was a cop stopping folks on the stretch left and right around 10am and he never came over here.
Report Check-InGreat spot for one night. Large paved pull off between road and lake. Lots of traffic noise early in the morning but not too bad during sleeping hours.
Report Check-InAmazing view, the road is busy all night, but not unbearable. Two bars of ATT cell service
Report Check-InBeautiful overlook of rifle lake, saw a gorgeous rainbow as we made diner. It does see heavy traffic and you’ll hear it. But it didn’t bother us. Good place to crash for the night, felt very safe, even had a cop pull through. About 45 minutes from the entrance to mt rainier
Report Check-InI actually really enjoyed this place. Maybe one full timer camper there but everyone kept to themselves. Beautiful views and right on the lake. There is a large lot with many spots. We found a more secluded area by taking the dirt road by the Porta potties.
Report Check-InAs described, trucks trucks trucks.
Only a large pullout on the highway, but nice view.
As stated in original post, great view of lake. Traffic slowed later at night (on a Saturday night) but still a little noisy. Strong 4G Verizon service. Good place for an overnight stay.
