Description
Located 5 km from main tarred road facing beautiful Sisiyi falls. Large flat grassy area for rooftop tents or big rigs and spots closer to the falls under in the forest for ground tents. Toilets and cold showers. Good mobile internet with MTN. 30,000 UGX pppn. (5,000 more to include breakfast). Also has a cottage that is under maintenance as for July 2019.

Maybe this is true for tent camping but for overlanding it’s horrible.
No privacy at all. Lots of locals, children and people from the campsite are staring at you all day. No bushes or trees to hide. Toilets are the most dirty toilets we’ve seen while traveling in Africa for the last 10
Months. No running water. Just very very awkward.
Place as described before. But run down toilet and shower was not working. Paid 40.000 pppn which is too much for what you get. They made a nice fire for us which was another 10.000.
Report Check-InIf it is rainy or wet, the street to the campground is not easy to drive for big rigs. We had the risk to slide into the tomato field 1 m below and stabelized the way with stones. But we were not able to reach the campground, because the last curve was to narrow and the last hill to wet. Big rig yes, but it depends which big rig.
Report Check-InThere's not much more to add that the other comments haven't said, this place is beautiful and deserves more attention than it gets.
The tent camping is as good as they come. Many places to choose from between the giant boulders and mature trees with the nothing but bird song and sound of the waterfall to caress you off to sleep.
The super friendly employee opened a cabin for me to use the shower and toilet
Report Check-InA wonderful little spot, ablutions are basic (but as good as any at Sipi) but setting and hosts make up for it. The falls are only 10min walk away and you don’t need to hire a “guide” to take you there. While the falls are smaller than Sipi in our opinion it is far more pleasant and intimate experience at Sisya.
